Looks like the Top Gear band has re-formed. Richard on bass, James on keyboards and Jeremy on - oh dear, he's going to sing, isn't he?  There's only one thing better that I can post here than James in a tux, and that's James in a white tux. Tell you what, it would be brilliant to see the three of them jamming. Jezza singing would be priceless. ;D Maybe he's beatboxing? I suspect this could be the context where the phrase "ambitious but rubbish" begins to make sense. ;D I'm hoping Jezza is just doing MC duties, and is about to retire to his drum kit. The other two seem to be waiting for someone to go "A- one..a-two..." |

There is a cymbal in the bottom left corner, isn't there? Fingers crossed it's attached to the rest of a drumkit and Jeremy will soon be sliding behind it. I do approve of those white tux jackets though <3

Every time I see a photo or video of the TG Band, I am reminded of '70s Saturday morning cartoons like "Josie and the Pussycats." Please tell me that the TG Band solves wacky mysteries and gets chased by ghosts/Old Man Withers between shows....  |

To answer my own question from a couple of days ago, they must have been back a few days as James has been in Dussledorf for the weekend, apparently with one of the film companies that worked on Great Wine Adventures and the first Man Lab. He got back to the UK earlier this evening.
Edit: Hammond Heaven suggests they got back from India on Thursday evening.

I read in a paper (over someone's shoulder on the tube this morning, so I don't have a link) that Jeremy's filming in a nuclear sub this week... don't have any other details, but that could be interesting...

There's the article in the Sun about the other personal stuff and at the end they show a picture of a sub and the caption says he will be spending the week 300metres under the water. It is dated Oct 26.

I've been wondering what kind of race or other competition can happen with Jeremy on a sub that has to do with cars. Maybe he's doing one of his serious DVDs. I remember how excited he was in the Albania episode regarding the sub and the planes.
