The warranty on the Min ran out at the end of March so, predictably, it started rattling ominously at the beginning of April. I thought I might have loosened something driving it through the snow, so I took it in to have it checked. Turned out that the innards of the catalytic converter had collapsed and fed bits of debris through to the silencer, so both have had to be replaced at a certain (well, large) amount of expense.
That's not the grief though. When I got out of the car at work the other day, I noticed a strange gap between a couple of the body panels on the front of the car. The whole thing appeared to be on the skew on one side, so I assumed it had been knocked about by the garage when they were working underneath it. I duly returned it to said garage this morning, and asked them to put right whatever they'd done to it.
"No problem, love" he said. "Bonnet's not closed properly".
Click. No more gap.
Today's blonde moment.

Don't you just so hate it when that happens?
My best one was when I took a car back to the main dealers because I couldn't open the glove box. They explained very slowly that this was because it was the airbag.
(Yes, I'm blonde.)
