Interestingly, James seems to be part of the driving force behind devising this thing, rather than just being the presenter. In the long interview, he talks about "we" wondering how they could put the technology to use. "We" I assume is the Plum Pictures production team, so here we seem to have a Manlab spinoff. Plum Pictures must bless the day James signed up with them You're right. I downloaded the app and it does mention Plum Pictures as one of the parties involved. I was really happy to read that the app also works outside the museum. It's now possible to have a minature James wherever I want him to be, like here on my table. ;D

This is much the same as the other reviews of the app, apart from this paragraph, which amused. The augmented reality system also means that how you point your camera at the marker changes how you're seeing li'l James May— so you can watch him rant from the top of his head down, or over his shoulder, or staring right at his ass. I'm sure there's someone out there for whom this realizes a very specific fetish.jalopnik.com/5905747/miniature-james-may-infests-your-gadgets

Does anyone have a copy of the picture? The code thing? So I can scan James in various places.

I'm trying to get James to do the washing up, but I'll have to get a smaller washing brush first. You can download the app on any smart phone or tablet. If you want to use it outside the museum, go to the museum's website and print out the marker, that's the sheet of paper. If you aim your device at the marker, James will appear.

morganstarr89: I posted it somewhere in this thread... think it was on the first page. It's easy to find if you go to the Science Museum's website though.
