I'd rather fancy he'd be a bloomin good star, in the cheapish car (forgotten what you call it now ) what about a piece about he's old merc......it's an idea. ;D oh and Mr Gandy drapped everywhere ;D You know you may be onto something. If the guys are going to start packing it in in the next couple of years, maybe they should start "auditioning" replacements by bringing them on for guest spots. Mr. Gandy would be dandy.

Cannot see it myself. Like Ryan Reynolds on Top Gear.
I really can't see where he's meant to be good looking. Maybe I just only have eyes for the nerdy look?

I think I'm with you on that one, missb. I'm sure Mr Gandy is conventionally handsome, but neither he nor Ryan Reynolds floated my boat. I enjoyed Reynolds' SIARPC; I thought he was amusing and intelligent, but he didn't do anything else for me.
I must be stuck with adorkable and ubergeek. (Wish I was).

I think Ryan Reynolds did seem a nice chap. Not full of himself or anything, which is good for somebody as famous as him.
I don't know who this gandy chap is. I only know of Ghandi... which is rather confusing.
I like the geek look and the "bloke couldn't really care what he looks like" look.
These modern chaps spend far too long getting ready. Why bother spending all that time getting ready when you can look wonderfully "shaggy"like the Mayster. Oh yeah!
Men who are tanned, eyebrows perfect, hair styled. Urgh... get a life. You're not real blokes!!!! Real blokes have a quick shower, shave, spray, quick quaff of brillcream and away you go...
And that's the way men should be!!!!

Ryan did seem quite nice and fun, but I didn't even swoon a little. I guess conventionally handsome isn't for me either.

No swooning for me either I'm afraid. Too pretty. Not enough sensitive hair.

I've never been one for fancying the "properly" good looking guys.... Always liked a bloke who is slightly off kilter of conventionally handsome. Don't tell MOH though I mentioned this in passing in a group conversation with some friends once with MOH in earshot.... He was slightly gutted *whoops*

Maybe my definition of lovely is broader. Can't ignore a man who is well put together. It's like appreciating art. On the other hand, lovely is as lovely does. James is very lovely.
David Tennant is still, for my money, the most lovely thing that roams the earth. Wish he had a degree in Physics or Anthropology though. Just the nerd in me.

I would like to make a little confession that is nothing to do with men off the TV. I have spent the past seven evenings confined to a small room, whispering and giggling in the dark with a very attractive young man.
Before anyone thinks I've struck lucky and been keeping it to myself, I hasten to add that I've been doing the sound at my local theatre, working in the techie box with the pro technician who was doing lighting. We got on like the proverbial house on fire, got used to taking timings from each other ("And....go!") and a good time was had by all. Especially when he took his sweatshirt off tonight to help strike the set to reveal a black vest T-shirt beneath.
The poor lad has no idea, but my flirty lady hormones have been popping all week, so the experience has done me a power of good!
(Please tell me this is a private thread, and his girlfriend isn't a fan of James!)

While I was at the range yesterday I noticed a very attractive older man shooting in the lane next to ours. He had a build similar to James's only not quiet as heavy and a tad shorter. He had nice features and lovely grey hair. Unfortunately, then I heard him speak. Not only did he NOT have a British accent, his voice was rather nasal sounding. But oh well, he was still nice to look at and it isn't like you can hear too much in the range anyway since you have to wear ear protection.

I want to mention Rhys Evans here. I just saw Anonymous which I had been waiting for. Being an English major and the controversy about who Shakespeare really was I just had to see it.Rhys was fantastic as the older Earl of Oxford. Another reason this movie sang to me was because of Vanessa and her daughter Joely. Rhys has come a long way from that nut in Notting Hill to this movie. Anyone want to bring over a picture for the inept one. I got to skype with my son and family the other day, very cool.
