I can't help myself. I've always fancied Jeremy. That beautiful baby face, that contagious laughter, that sense of humour, that deep and powerful voice, those beautiful blue eyes, the way he looks in shades, the way his jeans outline him so well, that chest hair that creeps over his collars - it's all too much to resist. Jeremy appeared on my radar at some significant point in those scary "finding oneself" years, back in my late teens I suppose. Now, umpteen years later, he just gets better and better. *sigh*

Mine sort of snuck up on me - I watched Top Gear for the cars and didn't fancy the guys at all like that.......then a friend of mine mentioned how she like Richard and I thought he was cute but too short so when I had to choose one, Jeremy fit more of what I liked...........
It still makes my male friends scratch their head sometimes. They understand me being attracted to him but not finding him physically attractive hahaha

With me it hit me like a wrecking ball. I saw a couple of eps of TG when my Grandad was in hospital but I never really concentrated on it then because I had so much else on my mind. Then when my Grandad passed away and I started getting on with the general business of everyday life, I was channel flicking and I saw a clip of a gorgeous car sweeping up a roadway, wooshing and swooshing all over and it captivated me so I put the remote control down and watched it. Then it cut to a shot of the driver in the car, which I found out later on was Jeremy, and when I saw him the first thing that came into my head, once I could form a coherent thought, was 'OMG, that man is gorgeous!' and that was it, he has had my heart ever since. ♥ I went online to chat to a mate and I told her all about it and she said that she watched TG, was a big fan, she told me all about his columns in the newspaper and I went to read all the archives and the more I read, the more I fell for him. Then it was just by chance that someone told me he wrote for The Sun so I buy that every Saturday too, only for Jeremy's page. ♥ I LUFFS MY JEZZA!!! ♥ |

I am a terminal case I think but I don't care. He is my favourite TG guy by a mile (Richard is second, then Andy Wilman, then James) and I've had a crush on him for literally as long as I can remember. I was reading one of my diaries from when I was about fifteen-ish and I wrote it in there like it was some sort of massive secret.
I love his legs and his eyes and his bloody infectious laugh, the way his legs sort of fall open when he sits, the chest hair, the dip in his collarbone, the glasses, even the hair!
I have it bad and I love it.

I didn't expect to like Jeremy. I always thought he was the resident jerk to stand in contrast to the other two. But he's slowly winning me over.
I think what finally redeemed him in my eyes was the episode after Hammond's crash, when they were watching the film of the accident (you thought I was going to say the hug, didn't you?). James just... wasn't there. He wasn't comfortable, he wasn't connected, and he looked like he didn't know what to say. Hammond was getting through it okay, but he had that gritty, semi-detached tone people get when they're dissociating themselves from what they're saying. But Jeremy kept it going, kept the mood from getting too serious, teased Hammond out when he seemed to be running out of things to say, and held off the uncomfortable silence that could have fallen and made the whole thing just miserable and depressing. And that was it: they'd had an accident, they brought Hammond back, they looked at it and talked about it, and it hasn't been an issue since. And I was just amazed at how deftly Jeremy handled it.

I am surprised to find myself here because James is my real hero and yet there are numourous times when I find myself being very attracted to Jeremy. They nomally happen very quickly like a bolt out of the blue and then they fade only to re-surface again when I least expected. My latest one happened at TG Live on Sunday. As I walked into Earls Court almost immediately in front of me was the Ford Focus stand complete with a cardboard cut out of Jeremy. He was wearing that lovely blue shirt, suddenely my legs turned to jelly and I thought, man you are sooooooooooo good looking. I therefore need some help!!!!!!!!
