I was nearly strangled unconscious by a scarf when I was 18. My boyfriend pulled it jokingly and didn't realise how hard he was pulling. He thought I was just playing along until I started to fall over!

That's what happened to me, except it was my friend, and didn't stop pulling on the scarf till I was lying on the floor...

Can I come in beside you, Em? The people next door had a Halloween party last night, so I haven't had much sleep. Only five kids came to our door trick or treating, after me making about two thousand goodie bags and in my despair I've eaten the all the left over ones.I think I've gone mad!

Guess who fell down the stairs last night at the Halloween party?... yup you guessed right....me ;D Was a slightly tipsy witch, couldn't see where I was going on the stairs cause of the UV lamp and I did a dying fly down the stairs.... At least the skeleton helped me back up, or was it the scarecrow?... I don't exactly remember But yeah...my knee and back are now killing me, any chance that Dr Stig's on duty today?

*hobbles into hospital* The window ledge in my room is about 3ft high, I like to lie on it and watch the fireworks One of the fireworks went wonky and exploded outside my window, I screamed, banged my head off the wardrobe and fell off the windowledge backwards only to feel my mini fridge whacking against my back Urgent back rub needed by Dr Stiggy STAT! ;D

Daisy, unless it's a tiny burn, go to your pharmacist or your local A&E department and get some proper burn dressings. They don't look very attractive when they're on as they're made of transparent membrane and you can see everything leaking and going squishy, but they encourage moist healing and it scars a hell of a lot less that way. I speak from experience here - a few years back I got 2nd degree burns when I was camping and a storm kettle exploded, but because I used the right dressings, you can barely see the scar - in fact, if you didn't know what it was, you wouldn't notice it at all. And Manson You are a walking (hobbling?) disaster area, hun!

Aah, don't worry, it was only three teeny spots on the back of one hand. Not too bad now, but I look like I have 'age spots'. Which is nice.

Eek! Someone made me laugh this afternoon and I couldn't breathe. I've been wheezy recently (I always get a bit tight chested when I'm stressed) and it turned into a proper asthma attack And of course, because I haven't had one in about a year, I didn't have my inhalers with me... I've found them now and I feel a lot better, if a bit sore. And I'm making a vow to at least attempt to kick the demon weed. (If Doctor Clarkson would like to give me mouth-to-mouth and a chest rub, just to be sure, I'd be most appreciative...)
