I really must start looking at Photoshop. I've got it but have avoided it, as someone has told me it's quite complicated, but I think it's time I grasped the nettle!

It's great, but why does Stiglet have a tree up his.... I think Jeremy's using Stiglet as a voodoo doll...  Photoshop is complicated if you want to do complicated things, but it's fairly straightforward to do simpler things. I only really scratch the surface with it. Make a copy of a few pictures (then it doesn't matter if you break them) and have a play. What can confuse people is that if you copy & paste, it adds it as a new layer. This is literally like placing an acetate overlay over the original picture, so you can re-position etc. without affecting the background. Once you have more than one layer, you have to flatten the picture before you can save it as a normal picture file. |
