Just listened to this. Loved it. Own up, is Helen of Wales a member here? His voice is indeed sooo sexy. "Nature's sausage" *snort* I have a musical mind meld with James!! I loooove that record too, and like him, had absolutely no idea what it was (Early music, Britten songs, chamber music as opposed to opera, T Rex in the car, and always found Eleanor Rigby the most terrifying and depressing song ever written. Could this perhaps be because we are the same age and therefore subject to a similar train of cultural influences??) He is soooooo adorable and oozes charm in this (oh lucky, lucky W!) The thought of Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden flying an airliner was exciting enough, the thought of James...  And when he did the announcement thing in this interview, Hello this is your Captain etc,- I very nearly passed out. In fact I think ...... *too late, Bayleaf has thudded* |

But seriously, this was much more satisfying than the interviews with the stupid airheads last year. Chris Moyles let James get on with it, really, which was great. I think the photos from this thing are among my favourites ever. James looks natural, relaxed and happy - not to mention slightly trimmer and extremely well. And the stubble and the ruffled hair... yep, just keep posting these repeatedly - I'll never tire of looking at them |

I've been thinking quite a bit about the grey stubble. Even the lovely Rich is starting to show a hint of grey around his temples.

James is not touchy feely (just like me) but very touchy if anyone teases him about homosexuality, as Jezza has jokingly done (though I'm not suggesting he's homophobe). Look at the youtube clip of James on Al Murray's show and how swiftly he reacts to the comment from the audience about in which publication he was awarded 'Weird Crush' status by the readers (not! I guess it was a hefty proportion of non-readers who visit here and elsewhere, though I neglected my boardic duty, not that I was a member back then!).
