God im getting to obsessed over the total cuteness thats hamster, i went on ebay earlier typed in richard hammond and all sorts of super goodies came up ;D now iv gone and bought two key rings and worse still a car sticker that says richard hammond on board  it wouldnt be so bad but im 33- with a boy friend- oh dear!!!  |

They even had pillows with his pic on- i drew the line there though- ahhhhhhhhhh you could snuggle in to him every night!

I must say I haven't gone as far to buy anything Hammond related from eBay, although I have been tempted. Thankfully, I'm quite...sensible...with my money and it's not very often I am frugal and buy things I don't really need (unless you're talking about clothes, in that case I can admit to buying 60 coat hangers every few months and they all get used at a rapid rate).
I think if I were to sleep on a Richard pillow, my other half would have me admitted to the nearest institution ;D

Yep i spotted the knickers- be the closested i would ever be to having richie in them!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D I didnt spend much under £10- bargin! ;D im going to get a serious ribbing off my mates though, they all like him but not that much. |

Gosh, yes there are some really ghastly tacky things. Like pillow slips and so on. Who buys this stuff? How could you seriously wear a t-shirt with Mrs ... blazened across your chest? I can't even type it!

A store here used to sell tshirts that said Mrs......different celebrity. I knew a woman who's last name was Pitt so she had the Mrs. Pitt one. It was really funny. I'm sure everyone that didn't know her wondered why this 40-ish married woman with children was wearing that shirt.  |

Dear 'help I'm obsessed'
I think we all realise that as much as it's not a nice word, a certain amount of obsession and madness makes the job of a cult TV fan and Hamster lover far more fun! My response to you is don't try to fight it. Accept it as a strength rather than a weakness and enjoy it, for you don't want the 'shine' to wear off! But I would say not to get too far into obsessiveness. Spending all your money and selling your worldly goods to buy merchandise is one thing and getting arrested is another! Good luck commrade!
