Here is one from the Arctic Expedition. Richard explains the previous races and how it is usually him and James against Jeremy. This is why they decided James wasn't quite right for the dog sledge. Richard mentions several times he is a dog lover. (Him not James) 'James is a man of many attributes - he is a talented musician, a knowledgeable car expert and has long hair - but physical fitness really is not one of them. He is robust, yes, and quite tough in a gristly, wiry sort of way, but would, we feared, collapse and die from the effort required to climb on to the sledge.' There are things in passing mentioned about James but haven't got that far for any other quotes.

OMG, I cannot find this book anywhere in Melbourne. i've tried the only shop that had mentioned to stock them, but their transport section was miniscule. Oh well, just to have to wait then until Borders or Angus and Robertson or Dymocks start stocking them.

It's a good read, nearly finished it. But I like the behind the scenes of what goes on.

Read most of it on the way back from London this evening. Not as intense as On The Edge, but it was always going to be a very different read. Thoroughly enjoying it

Finished, it is a good read. Light hearted, genuine and fun. As I said before the behind the making of TG films is really interesting.

An excellent read and entirely different to On The Edge. I've finished it just in time too as Amazon have told me For Crying Out Loud is on it's way ;D

I did ask for my dads wife to get me it for christmas, but she refused, seeing as she's already bought me loads of TG books. So I got her to get me 'The Challenges 2' instead, she can't complain, it's not a book. She thinks I read waaaay too much. I reminded her it could be worse, I could be asking for drug money....

How can you read to much?

I was going to ask that! Reading should be encouraged. I'd rather see anyone with their nose in a book than their ears filled with noise or staring at a computer game all day. I've just finished the bit on his love for Oliver. I'm impressed a man is happy to admit this so publicly. ;D

I must buy at least four books a month and love every single one, no one can never read too much, though when I was in WH Smith yesterday it was either Hammonds book or the new Jamie Oilver.......don't tell Richard but Jamie won, next week I will ;D

I did get the book for half price in Waterstones by the way. I was quite shocked that I got it so cheap. Is it doing well in the charts?

I had mine read within 24 hours of receiving it. The behind the scenes stuff is fascinating. I'm afraid if it was possible to read too much I would have long ago succumbed to it's effects.
