I wonder if he has any Irish blood in him. With this jumper and his lovely wavy hair, he looks a bit Celtic.

It's a woolly jumper but I wouldn't call it Arran

Inks, you don't think it looks like an Aran sweater? [BTW, I think the spelling is Aran if we're talking about Ireland; whereas the Arran islands are off the coast of Scotland. Yes, I'm being a pedantic pain in the arse again.]
Anyway! All I know is those Aran sweaters/jumpers are hot as Hades. I bought one on a trip to Donegal but ended up giving it to my father because he's cold all the time. I couldn't wear it at any time of year - it was unbearably hot. And kind of itchy

Bloody hell! I'm loving this thread! I've melted into a puddle of goo in my computer chair. I truly love to see guys, any guys, in these type of jumpers! And when it's James May, coherent specch becomes difficult. Now, if anyone has any of my favorite Hamter in a jumper, I'll faint!

Well I had said Arran and Arran style so even normally wooly counts too LOL
(or Aran as blackopal insists...)

It's a woolly jumper but I wouldn't call it Arran I see what you mean now (finally!). If it was an Aran sweater it would have stitchwork patterns on it, como este:
