This is a clip with James from an episode of Old Top Gear 1999 that I uploaded last year. All the old clips with James have been put on You Tube this week. Quite handy, because now you don't have to watch the rest of the programmes which weren't very good anyway. ;D Edit: if you search for Old Top Gear James May you should be able to find all nine clips.  I noted today how fast he spoke in 1999. And funny to hear he already back then mentioned Mecanno and showed a truck he had made. ;D |

James had short hair up until 2003 ish, when he was hitting 40. I wonder what made him decide to grow it longer. Early midlife crises? ;D

Maybe he realised that it looked better. Long hair just really suits some chaps, James, I think, is one of them.

I found a website out there which had a good number of the old TG episodes, with both James and Andy in, but the link is on my old laptop harddrive, and I'm trying to figure out how to get at the history from Firefox so I can post it here. I'll keep trying!

I've never seen that clip before. Thanks for posting it. Seeing as my dad bought a Mazda MX-5 last year, it's nice to see it being praised by someone so knowledgeable about cars. Having had a ride in it, I can say that it is indeed a very good car! ;D |

Aww, I think he looks sweet with his shorter hair! I prefer it longer, obviously, but it is rather amusing to see him with short hair ;D Thank you very much for all the clips though, I haven't seen them before!
