Maybe a silly idea, or do you think the encouragement/results of the recent DM photoshoot has given him more confidence?

Possibly. Never thought about that. Either that or someone has slipped something into his tea.

We have been channelling all our good wishes to him and telling him that he's gorgeous and maybe that's helped. Either that or he's been reading the board, if so, Hello Mr May! *kissy* You're gorgeous!!

Smiling makes everyone happy. Btw, re "precious fangirls I tried to photoshop a pic of Gollum on that image but I failed. Looked VERY creepy.

Asparay - I didn't know who the character was who said that. I have heard other people saying the quote and it made me laugh and I just thought it fitted in with the image. Key - Yes, I mentioned something to that effect the other day when that pic first emerged itself.

I have notice lately that on screen is seem more confidence/happy than ever. Yeah I think you are right. I think as you get older you become more at ease with yourself and generally more confident (says one speaking from experience )

That got me thinking, Brycegold, you are right on that one. I crossed a threshhold recently and I do feel a lot more confident now, it has been creeping up on me for the past six months or so. Thanks for the little insight.

I have my own theory about that, but it's best kept to myself.
As much as I like the intense one's, I prefer these even more. When he smiles he's so ridiculously handsome, even the crow's feet are sexy.
I was thinking more Heath Ledger in Dark Knight.
"WHY SO SERIOUS?!"

Do you remember the twitching eye and leg in times gone by. They seemed to be signs of nervousness. I used to think , how sweet, they seem to have gone now and dare I say that he seems much cockier nowadays.

I just thought he was being cute when he did that eye twitch thing. But yeah, I have noticed that he seems alot more natural and loose now. He must be getting more used to being in front of the camera as well as other things.

Maybe he's got to that 'who cares' stage in life. He is more relaxed and cool. He always cool though.
