I avoided this because it looked like an absolute scrum. Was anyone there? I'm told there was some unpleasantness between fans and security, but they picked a rather crappy location to have it.

If it was same as the scrum to get his range of t-shirts signed on sunday then it doesn't surprise me - all hell broke out when he appeared at the stand and the poor guy who had been asked to make them was absolutely gutted for the people who didn't get their shirt signed And i have to say the barstewards weren't exactly polite Mind you there were a few whe deserved an ear bashing I didn't bother and took it along with me on monday ;D

Or is this someone else... sorry I'm lost. I've been told about a christmas range of Captain Slow shirts, but have no idea where to get one. Sorry if this is alittle off topic.

I had a lengthy chat with the guy running the stand at the end of the day (very nice he was too ) He had been asked just five days earlier to get something together and was hoping to extend the range in due course. The t-shirts have this logo on them They were selling like hot cakes ;D All funds go towards the new ferrari ;D

It was a bit hectic to get the dvd signed, I got mine signed, which was fantastic. James was late and he was seated so that it looked like he was hiding, not his fault. Anyway you had to stand in a row, and if you had two seconds to say hello to James, that was huge. I got a glimpse and really hope I would be so lucky to meet him again in the future!
But you know what? There is not enough film or pictures to show you how handsome he is for real. Bloody gorgeous .

When I read the above comments about chaos and security hassle at Earls Court, I thought I was reading about the NEC, which seemed equally squashed and unplanned. You would have thought that someone would have rethought the arrangements in the intervening week.

I don't about the brain trainer signing. But the guy with the t-shirts was telling me he didn't know for sure he was going to get to earls court with them on time it was all so rushed! So that may account for it at EC but no excuses for NEC other than they obviously have no clue how popular James is ;D

Selfridges was inundated by people for the booksigning - how different from his signing in January at St Pancras. There was no-one there in the last 10 mins, only the odd person the sales people dragged over and I heard James saying 'Can I go now?' Starfish and I were about the only two who hung around till he left.
