BBC_TopGear just posted a poll on what you would buy if you won the Euromillions, James May is winning the poll with 28.85% of the vote! I think there are a lot more closet Mayhemers out there if 163 voters voted to buy James... ;D ;D Here is the poll if you want to check it out and/or vote ;D polldaddy.com/poll/3665906/

If we pool our money, we could set up a syndicate to buy him. And then everyone would get one or two shares of James, depending on how much they put in. It works for Thoroughbred stallion ownership -- why not for him?

If everyone on the JMB chipped in we'd only get him for 1/2 a day every year!

Keep in mind if you only have a 5% stake in James, you only have to pay 5% of his upkeep and maintenance costs. Pie budget, stripey sweater allowance, motorcycle insurance...

Yay, just voted for my share of James, he's still leading the poll at 30% of votes. No matter how small my holding is in James (ooo that sounds a bit like my comment would be better off the the NC) it's more than what I own at the moment! ;D ;D

I'm in! As he's going to be busy all year, where should we put him to make sure he's happy as he waits for his...erm...investors to reap their dividends?

In a traditional stud, the stallion remains in one location and the mares come to him, although to take advantage of the different breeding systems in the Northern and Southern hemispheres, some will shuttle to Australia for half the year.

I've just had a Raspberry Ruffle. Actually, I'd rather have a massive supply of those than half a day a year with some hairy bloke. In fact, sod the hairy bloke, I'll just buy some Raspberry Ruffles

"Sod the hairy bloke"? Heresy!
(Or how about the "hairy bloke" and Raspberry Ruffles? Though personally I'd prefer a box of Maltesers - one for me, one for James, one for me, one for.....!)
