A card arrives in the post: You have won a charity raffle of one dance with Top Gear's James May! The details of where and when will be forthcoming. All you have to do is choose the song! Ok, I know it isn't going to be happening, but this is what imaginations are for! ;D ;D What song would you choose? Of course choosing just one would be impossible. But I think this one would be a candidate: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEtx2YTcD94

Don't want to commit myself at this stage. "Black Velvet" is indeed a seriously sexy record, I've always thought, though even more so is George Michael's "Careless Whisper" - the sax intro and break makes me quite gooey, and the pace is such that you could start off quite sensibly, then slow down to half speed......I'm listening to it now on YouTube.....
*Taxi please. You know where I'm heading*

I wouldn't worry about committing yourself, Dit. I couldn't pick just one. ;D

I didn't know "You Do Something To Me" was Paul Weller, for some reason I thought it was Eric Clapton. Desperately intense and beautiful song, though. Makes me cry.

I'd choose the Birdie Song.
I hate dancing socially, and at least that's something so utterly ridiculous we'd look like a pair of prats together. Might get a laugh out of it, anyway, and laughter is a fantastic ice breaker ;D

Changed my mind again...again... www.youtube.com/watch?v=kag0TsZzxpwAngel Eyes by the Jeff Healey Band. I really miss his sound. This was one of the first songs I ever slow-danced to. I was at a summer music camp at the university. What a magical night! ;D ;D

This is difficult I know lots of lovely songs but it more stareing into each others eyes type of songs. Set fire to the First Bar by Snow Patrol is a better cling to each other song.OH! I don't know.

Kiss you all over by exile, or is that too saucy? It's your dance. You can be as saucy as you like! I'm sure James won't mind!

Okay, I've changed my mind again... yeah, I know! I love this whole album, but this song is my favorite. Especially this line, "Come home this mornin' Clothes don't fit too right" www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9jiRXrhkcw
