Good programme, very car-orientated. SITRPC was more interesting than I expected. Not enough James, though, as the China sequence didn't start till the final third of the programme, though the news segment was funny - he was obviously a little sod when he was a kid.
I've given it an 8, mainly for low percentage of James, but also on a personal taste basis as I don't find NASCAR interesting, no matter who's presenting it. Sorry, Richard!

I've gone 9 as I now realise that I drive as mad as a NASCAR driver and I soooooo want to drive that track.
The programme seems to have gathered pace, or the segments are tighter. The news segments should be longer. I agree with Dit, James must've been the teen from hell. Sometimes I think we went to the same school - there must be some 'scouse' in his DNA that he isn't admitting.
Chinese cars feature was interesting and it was a pity that they didn't explore that further. I think we need to send a delegation from the board to sort out Attack Stig. Hopefully we will get the sleeping bag challenge next week. James.... don't forget your sleeping bag!

You're a good lady Meimi. I use a proxy server but I know many people don't. It very nice of you to take the time to post this for people.

I thought the episode was great. NASCAR is vicious. I think they should ask Danika Patrick to be the SITRPC the opposite of Sabine. Graboid came thru quite quickly this time. The end was great! I think Matt looked ok, he's only 43. All the guys looked good. Now watch in the papers tomorrow TG will be blamed for telling children fun things to do with bike locks. I gave it a 10.

Thanks, meimi. Glad you've managed to find alternatives for your up/downloads. I'm not bothering. Just sharing links that other people have uploaded. I always knew other ways to obtain the show(and had to) but I just don't feel like finding another site to upload a bunch of my files to anymore, not if they're just going to get erased.

I ended up viewing it piecemeal with a variety of links. I would willingly pay to watch this show (Lords only knows why, since I already pay my cable company a zillion dollars for things that aren't worth watching), rather than go through 3+ hours of IT aggravation every week.
As for the show itself, Richard definitely had the best segment. I wouldn't be surprised if TG/BBC get complaints from somebody in China after that very critical review of their auto industry.

I'd gladly pay too as I'm sure a lot of Americans would (already paying extra for BBCA) to see British programming legally. It would be nice if there was a subscription service over the net to access i-player and the like legally. Alas, there isn't. Pardon me but it's time to put my eye patch back on, make sure my peg leg is secure, and dust off my parrot. Arghh, off to sail surf the sea net.

They don't like it because that is exactly what kids/my OH and many others would do without prompting from anybody.
The show last night was another good one, loved the news and the Beijing cars item also realised that Nascar maybe a mental but lots more fun than F1.

I still can't stop giggling over Stig's Chinese cousin, even though I didn't like to see him even pretend to attack James' veg.

I really liked the new ep (loved Stig's Chinese cousin), and as much as I disliked Nascar, Richard was entertaining. I always find the news segment to be the most entertaining part of the entire show and what I look forward to each week. C'mon James, Richard has been practicing all week! Indulge him already! ;D Does anyone else find it interesting that the SIARPC are all Americans so far? The next one will be too, I think. All right in a row.

Loved this episode! Thanks for the link Meim, didn't have to go through the trouble finding them myself (also lost an account and don't want to pay for another and lose it again) - I do use a proxy server but I also want to save these on a flash drive (at least the good ones). Like the new pace of the show - never a dull moment. Must show the Nascar bit to my son - he's a major Cars fan and now he can see the real deal. I found it most entertaining, whereas I just cannot stand F1 - that bores me silly. Don't think I really would like to see the race where James is in sleeping bag and Jeremy sewing a button and... But enjoyed The Stig's Chinese cousin quite a lot. Just wonder when the Chinese will make an official complaint about giving a negative image or something These two first episodes have been so good that I'm a bit worried about the rest of the show, can it get better? Only thing that could make the following episodes better than these two is just to show more James - that's all.

I gave this episode a 9. I suppose I could have gone for a 10, but, I'm sorry Jeremy the Mercedes bored me a bit. I used to be a very big NASCAR fan. I stopped watching because the governing body for the sport was playing too many games, changing rules, revamping the series and IMHO ruining everything. Having said that, I absolutely loved Richard's segment. I don't think I've ever said that before. Usually Richard's pieces are ok and sometimes funny, but this was like home turf for me!! The roar of those engines brought back so many happy memories. And to see Kyle driving again was wonderful. ;D And, no Richard, you weren't very close to the wall at all! ;D Chinese Stig was ok. I did like the fact that he had to be corralled into the cars. His feistiness was getting just a little old. Get in the car you fool. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. That tripod Chinese car with James & Jeremy had me in tears! ;D ;D I was pleasantly pleased with Matt. As he was taking his seat, I quietly said, please don't embarrass the entire country. He was nice. He knew his cars and told a few good stories. You could see that his lap was going to be massively fast, but I didn't think we'd see someone break Rowan's time so soon! All in all, a tremendous episode! ;D ;D

I gave it a 7. Even though the Chinese car industry bit was really interesting and very funny in places, I was bored with the rest of it. Nothing wrong with the show as a whole - I can see why other people would enjoy it - but the subjects covered simply didn't hold my interest. Perhaps I've become a bit of a TG snob. ;D
