Liked this episode. This series, except for perhaps one episode, has been much stronger. It all worked. Liked the concentration this episode on older cars too. Would knock off half a point for Alex James but we can't score in halves so I'm giving it a 10.

I thought it was excellent. Besides the first episode, I think this one is probably my favourite. Everything just worked. And lovely old car porn as well.

Thought it was a superb episode tonight. Some properly funny stuff.

Another great show tonight. Loved the track cars and the old timers. I thought James might've wanted to do that segment. Especially loved the bit when James kept asking Jeremy how pushrods actually worked.
James May can do donuts!!! Who knew?!?!!

I thought this was one of the best episodes for a long time. I agree, this season has been a step up, the best since season 15 to my mind, and the cars have been the real focus. The programme is always at its best when it's three blokes cocking around with cars, rather than three blokes cocking around - and oh yes, there are cars around there somewhere (if that makes any sense!)
I enjoyed every segment so it gets a 10 from me, my first in a long while. I'm lucky enough to be going to the recording of 18.7 on Wednesday, and I just hope the content is as good as this one.

I gave it a ten because I was riveted the whole time and it felt like it was only 10 minutes long. Lots of good remarks and those cars were something. They all looked good and healthy and like they were having a good time except in the rain.

"It's like watching a vicar play poker." "Strip poker." It was an OK episode. I thought is was kind of obvious that the first section of the track day cars wasn't working for them but it seems editing saved them. Yeah, it was OK.

It was a good ep,I loved the old Bentley and I even liked Alex James.I'm giving it a 9 because it was a little slow and because of things leaked out it felt like deja vu.
On another note, lucky you Dit! Hope you have a good time on Wednesday.Even though I have steam coming out of my ears with jealousy.

How come the Monopoly thing between James and Jeremy was in it this time?? They just used the same script as the previous week, only this time with less swearing

Brutus the car=Jeremy must have given it indigestion or something as the car kept farting! I found that the funniest due to my juvenile sense of humor.

Really enjoyed this episode. The first part with them racing with the cars was as close as I will probably get to my wish for them to do a Mario Kart themed race. Loved every minute of it. Felt really bad for them having to drive to work in the rain and getting soaked. It is nice to have the cars take center stage again.
I give it an enthusiastic 9.

I really enjoyed this episode! There is only one word for that Bentley, exquisite!! I would love to own one, just to wander about it, looking at every little bit and occasionally touching it with a loving finger or a caress.
I had no idea who Alex James was nor did I know what/who Blur was, but he was pretty good. Loved the fact that the Japanese Blur fans threw tins of cheese at him. ;D
I even liked James' 'drive to work in the Caterham' hat! ;D ;D They must have been beyond miserable in the rain.
A very solid episode.
Can't wait for your report, Dit!! ;D ;D

It's late and no scandal reported. Do we think Dit and co have ran off with the Mayman?

Another great episode. Repeating what others have said: loved the Bentley (even though the presenter was wrong), loved the track day bit and even loved James' hat ;D (But he sure could use some conditioner, there are some that don't have any fragrance or any other "girly" stuff - if you've got the hair, take care of it ) And loved Alex James, always have, just listened to Blur the other day. Also keenly waiting on Dit's report... and piccies

I finally got time to see last week's episode. I really enjoyed it although I am having more and more trouble to get through the "siarpc" bit. I just find a boring, sorry about that. All the other bits were just simply brilliant! Really liked the Brutus ;D And James looked just... just.... I don't know, but I can tell you I could just spread him on a cracker ;D

James doing doughnuts in my dream car. That alone deserves 10/10!!!
I had a smile plastered on my face for the entire episode (apart from the SIARPC, which I skipped, as per usual ;D). Even the Stig made me laugh - watching him trying to get that Morgan around the track was very entertaining. ;D Jeremy in his "Sara Lee" outfit (layer upon layer) driving to work was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. ;D
Lots of these ;D = happy Pie.

I agree with much of the above. A very enjoyable episode although I'm finding SIARPC a bit tiresome these days for some reason. I agree with Nat about that hat James was wearing - it reminded me of old fashioned tea cosies.

Also keenly waiting on Dit's report... and piccies Lengthy report is now on the spoilers thread, and a couple of pics on the members' photos thread. Although (as usual!) my pics are blurry, I'll try to sort a few more out later today and put them also onto the members' photo section.
