I agree. Sometimes Alan Davis reminds me of him. I know what you mean - i think its his mannerisms too - very simular. And he is quite sweet ;D

I really wish I could show a picture of my boyfriend so you could all see that he really looks and dresses a lot like James, at least to me anyway, the clothes there is no denying, but you may not think so with the face. I just wish you could see a picture!! Arg!

I don't know if he'd want his pic. up here, and I don't want to take the chance that some of you might just possibly know him. As disney states "it's a small world after all"...I may just get brave sometime soon though.

There's some chap on springwatch/autumnwatch that is so trying to be JamesMay. His clothes and hair are just too much of a copy. I don't like it!!!! I do think (sometimes) that Will Smith (not the American, obviously) looks a bit like James.

Is it OK to put pics of people who aren't celebrities on this thread? Every so often someone posts a pic on t'interwebs of someone they've seen that they reckon looks like James. Some, to be fair, are people being nasty (e.g. pic is of just of someone really scruffy) but all of these have been put up by people who have wondered if it is actually James, and I think you can see a resemblance. Younger? (though personally I can't see it in this one) In 10/15 years? Well, yeah, I suppose this one is a bit naughty

That first one is a ringer. It definitely looks like him. It looks like a radio promo.

Agreed, but it definitely isn't James. The people in the photo are apparently the Coodabeens, a comedy team who present sporting broadcasts in Australia. I've seen another pic taken at the same event where the guy looks nothing like James, but it's all to do with capturing a specific moment with photography, isn't it?

None of the clothes in those photos look like James-wear.

None of the clothes in those photos look like James-wear. Except the shoes in the first one

The older guy has a hint. Open-necked stripey shirt with contrast cuffs turned back, denim jeans - well, that much anyway. Oh, and the ubiquitous left hand stuffed down the jeans pocket.

I thought the shoes in the first one were boat shoes...can't ever picture James wearing those.
And the old guy's jeans look filthy. James' may have a few holes and slight dirt, but I've never seen him wearing anything truly disgusting (unless he's in the middle of filming something dirty, like blowing something up).

Knew I'd seen a certain expression of James' on someone else. James Phil Harding from Time Team

This is Angus MacKenzie, who is an editor at Motor Trend, and I screencapped this from one of their Epic Drive videos. He apparently complains that he is frequently mistaken for James May, which I imagine has something to do with the hair and the fact that he's usually filmed with cars. Maybe the eyebrows too?
