When I moved down here in the 80s from Bristol, I absolutely loathed the place! I was left with the impression that Torbay is a lovely place to visit (and I agree 100% with James's observations on the place, especially Brixham, and especially the fishing port, which was always my favourite bit) but living there, especially in the winter, was rubbish. So I moved to the "big" city (Plymouth!) and I never looked back. The best of everything is here - a number of excellent microbreweries, sea to one side, wild, open moors on the other, urban enough not to get boring but close enough to the rural stuff if you have a disturbing penchant for mud and the scent of Eau de Vache. And then there's dear old Totnes, of course, which really defies description but is truly lovely.

Well, Simon the PC doctor reckons James has a house in Kendal and bats for the other side (I think he may be pulling my leg :

Stewart keeps saying James is bent and is Jeremy's partner - although the daily star last week says that's jeremy and richard

I'm going to Isle of Wight on 4th April, I wonder if any of the guys will be that way. I'm hoping they will, it would make a lovely sight to spot them on the ferry filming. I suspect I won't be lucky enough.
