True MG, we need to refer to the sun god for moments of brief sadness, and then all of a sudden it's sunshine in our lives again ;D.....

Did any of you see the boys for the Children in Need? I'm not too sure about the details (ie, what they said), all I remember is that I laughed really loud...
Jeremy: Please make a donation, because you can help a young careworker by buying them a day off with help; Richard: Or a nice day out... James: ... or cheese!
;D

Hello Dollie and all other new members! Welcome to The James May Board! Oooh San Diego...wish I was there.... ;D San Diego really is not all that great as people think it is. Its honestly a retirement community so everythings closed down before 9 at night. And much worse, I've had to explain to everyone at my work WHO James May is, and even then they still have no idea what I am saying. Not to mention its near impossible to find any of his books on a store shelf.

Dollie can I ask how you got to know about James. Do you watch our Top Gear on one of your channels.
Eclair I take it you must still have some relations in Scotland then.

Gold Coast has a large retirement community as well ... some call it "God's waiting room" ;D But its a mixed bag with the nightclub scene, the beach scene, the family scene. No one knows who James May is where I work either and I tend to get a lot of my James/TG DVD's and books off Amazon and Ebay.... Its not easy being a James May fan outside the UK but hey - there's lots of us on this board! ;D
