Jeremy and James assess historic vehicles to establish which one pioneered the control layout present in modern cars; Richard tries his hand in an F1 car and singer-songwriter James Blunt is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Hi All
I was lucky enough to be at the filming of this on Wednesday, and I must say James Blunt's interview was a bit better than I was expecting - I'm really not a fan AT ALL but he was quite amusing (although he's not exactly a car fan). Lewis Hamilton was great too - again, a much better interview than I was expecting, although I suspect they'll have to cut it quite a lot becuase it was very long and there's an awful lot to fit into the show.
Oh, and, er, during the News, if you see a redhead standing in the audience kind of opposite James and Richard, blushing SO MUCH, that'll be me (I'm next to a blonde lady in a red jumper). It's Jeremy's fault that I'm blushing...!

And for those of you who haven;t yet read my story of doom on HH, this is what happened:
But the News... well... suffice to say I don't think it will make the telly as I'm pretty sure either me and/or Richard swore so it'll be cut, but basically before it started I was right at the front, and Jezza was standing by us playing with his iPhone (which is the very pretty shiny and I want one!!) and said to us 'someone's put my number on the internet and I keep getting calls from children. I said 'have you see Heat magazine this week?' and he said 'Oh god, why, is my number in there as well?' and I said 'no, James is in there, y'know, the weird crush thing' and I said 'it's not weird'. Jeremy laughed and said 'you don't think James is weird???' and I said 'no, I don't think having a crush on James is weird!' and then Jeremy went up on to the stage, sat down, looked at James and then looked at me and said 'please, during the news, will you jump up on the stage and shove you hand down the front of James's trousers? Richard and I would love that!' and then James looked at me and said 'and you think I wouldn't enjoy it??' I may have blushed a bit...
And then, during the actual cameras-on-filming-aaagh news bit, James was talking about Tesco clubcard points and how you can use them to buy a car. He was working out how many pies he's have to eat to get a Ford Focus and was blathering on a bit, and Jeremy turned round to me and said 'do you still fancy him now?' I blushed again and wittered something like 'well, yes, but I would rather have the pie, they are very nice...' and Richard said 'Blimey, think of the conversations they's have' and then James AND THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE were looking at me again and I went a bit red, again!
So, er, yeah, I think James knows I like him now, anyway... Ooops...
To make things worse, someone from HH went to James's Manchester booksigning on Thursday and asked him about the whole 'making someone blush' thing, and he said 'oh yes, the girl with red hair!' So he has remembered me. Oh crap...
I'm going to hide behind the sofa now...

Ah, the Doctor's appointment! Jeremy introduced James 'for the very last time' and then explained that James wouldn't be on Top Gear ever again becuase 'he'd be dead by next week'. Apparetnly James had had a medical appointment but wouldn't tell Jeremy why, so Jeremy assumed it was something fatal - I think AIDS, chlamydia and plague were all mentioned, although apparently James couldn't have gonhorrea becuase 'you can't catch that from other men'.
I'm sure James is perfectly OK really!
