Doesn't seem so bad that the summer is over when there'll be plenty of time to get warm and cosy in front of the TV in October

There are other questions.
Whose tankard is it? What was he doing to bend it in the first place? Did he fix it? Will it now be in a glass case in a museum somewhere? Can I have it?

The BBC have sort of gagged me and I do have photos but I can't publish them. I met Oz at a brewing conference, he tried my beer and enjoyed it, then a few months later i got an e-mail asking if they could film and it all went from there. Both Oz and James were lovely, very interested in brewing and stayed far longer than they should have. I spent several hours in close proximity to them both as we filmed in a very small space. They came in a green rolls royce towing the horrid caravan. The sun shone and we all had a good time. I am sure that I will only feature for a few minutes on the programme if at all - they were filming in lots of places so I have every expectation that i will end up on the cutting room floor!!

I have only been brewing for 12 months and I brew in a garage, all be it a large one, but lots of equipment hence the confined space. I make 180 gallons at a time. I was also the supposed 'expert' haha, teaching them how to make a good honest pint - I make real beer not this wishy washy lager nonsence with no taste.
The beer that they 'helped' to make has almost all been sold, but I wasn't allowed to make commercial gain from their visit so I couldn't advertise that they had helped. Boo Hoo! It did taste good though!!!!

Hi Girlybrewer, how exciting! Chasingtime from this board is also a brewer, although she doesn't seem to have been around much lately. Maybe after the show has aired you can share your pictures?

Girlybrewer...welcome to the board!!! I am a fellow brewer, tis true, from across the pond. Not 180 gallons at a time, though, you *are* a master!...about half that in actuality for me as I'm a bit limited out here space-wise on the farm (and the laundry/basement stairs area where mine breathes life) and also time-wise as I'm a bit married to my work. I like to think I'm making proper beer, too, although it's always a learning (and researching) process! , isn't it? I try to make as un-American version of beer as I can (since our major ones are absolute rubbish imho), more Aussie-inspired ones now, but am looking at learning the English Browns, too, lol. Still very hit and miss success with my Bitter attempts, but I'm still trying. Yes, whereas some women are addicted to shoes and makeup...I am addicted to hops. And I'm proud of it, too. I'm also very envious of your meetup with Oz and James...would have been too much for me to concentrate as it would combine good men and equally tasty beer...and I'm anxious to see the show on YouTube or however I shall maybe see it over here and perhaps you in the process. Here's to both your future success as a brewing mistress and as a future telly star, too. Again, welcome to the board!!
