I said ages ago about a car that I saw at my local gas station, with a door at the front.... It turns out, this is what it is: Apparantly, it's called 'The Bubble Car'.....

I've always been inordinately fond of them, Vix Here's the little beauty that appeared on our campus this morning. It remained on site for less than a minute, so how was that for timing?! I love Aston Martins!

There was a Bubble Car that lived round the corner from us when I was kid. It was very cute. Looks like BMW want to ressurect it! Now that really wouldn't be the same without the front opening door!

If MF takes me to the Aston Martin showroom she may have trouble getting me out! As much as I love Lambos, if I was really in the market for a prestige car, it would probably be an Aston. Of course, I never will be, but it's nice to dream.
What kind of girl am I? My fantasy garage currently contains a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, an Aston Martin DBS, a Bentley Brooklands, a Corvette and, er, a Triumph Herald ;D

A Mustang - I think it was one of the new ones (beige with black stripes and the word "Mustang" on the side!! ). Rather nice, and not something you see around here. I nearly crashed into the car in front trying to see it in my mirror. ;D

I've changed my mind about the new Fiat 500. I've decided that actually, I like it very much even when it isn't the Abarth version. When it isn't white, it isn't so much like sitting in a fridge. I know this because today there was a yellow one in the mall, I made the mistake of getting in and setting it up for me and I didn't want to get out. It's made things very difficult for me to vote on the supermini category on Final Gear, though, because I think I might even like it as much as the Fiesta. It's weird, OK it has no boot space and a back seat designed for Heather Mills (there's a little bit more room that it would need to garner the "Douglas Bader Award"... you will get one leg in there) but the overall feel is that it's much bigger than it really is. And it's well laid out. Everything's in easy reach, even for a shortarse like me. The Fiesta is equally well laid out, but the thing is the design influences are polar opposites (the 500 quirky and retro, the Fiesta modern but user-friendly), so they're really hard to compare. I think I'm just mentioning this because it is possible for me to say, "I was wrong," or at least, that I'm not as certain as I was... It won't happen often on something opinion based (on fact based things it happens all the time). You might want to mark today on the calendar

Someone's parked a Fiat Coupé outside my house. It doesn't have Boadicea blades on the wheels though.
I still can't make up my mind about the way it looks. It's certainly different, and superficially not unattractive, but why does everything Chris Bangle designs end up looking like it needs ironing?

A VW Sciorocco Rococoa? Help spelling It was white and like the Stig's helmet. I may want one..... although I'm quite charmed with anything with wheels.....apart from Hondas. Although I'm prepared to look at the Clarity.

Ooh, I'm jealous. I love them very much.
On my way to uni this morning (at 4am!!!) I saw a really ancient Citroen van. I've taken a couple of photos but I can't find the lead for my phone. When I do, I'll upload them. It was quite fun, and looked like it should be filled with goats or something.

At about 4am this morning as I was heading into uni, I stumbled upon a nice early Citroen 2CV Camionette van. Sorry the pictures are a bit dark, I used my flash but... well.. it was 4am...

Today I saw an Aston Martin, never seen one in the flesh before, not sure which model, could possibly have been a DB9. It was in the doctor's park so that doesn't surprise me!

Dacia Sandero? Wow!
I saw something extremely surprising yesterday in Torquay - The terrible and disgusting Riva G-Wiz!
Now this was surprising for a number of reasons, but mainly that GoinGreen, the UK distributor for the G-Wiz, only sells in London and only has service operations in London and absolutely does not recommend that people outside the M25 buy one at present because they won't be able to look after it properly.
Couple that with the fact that is has a range of about 40 miles and seeing one in Torquay, which is in Devon and nowhere near London, is very surprising indeed!

I've been seeing a new Clio in the station car park over the last week or so. It looks odd (to me anyway) - it's a lot longer than Clios used to be.

Not sure I've seen a new Clio. I shall keep an eye out.
Yesterday I did see something quite scary, though, but the G-Wiz put it out of my mind till now. You might have heard me mention that someone has an AMG Smart near me. Well, it gets worse - yesterday I saw a Brabus tuned Smart. God only knows what it's capable of, but am I the only one that finds that idea just a little bit scary?!

I saw a stream of Lotus Exige's drive past me today, I had to pull over on a NS road to answer my phone (good driver here ;D) and about 7 went past. I totally lost what I was talking about on the phone and the other person hung up on me.... But my God was it worth it!

Another eco-car today! This time it was an Aixam. It's still technically a quadricycle, but it's a lot more practical than a G-Wiz in terms of space and it also doesn't look like a total mutant.

I saw a Audi R8 just going down the street. maybe I should go and have a look around in the neighbourhood and see if it is still there. The road infront of the building is the only way out.
