That struck us as funny - can you see how the Rolls Royce in the window seems to be glaring at the G-Wiz? I would too, if one was stuck in front of me and I couldn't move away from it!

Griasgirl was hoping there would be more photos on this thread, so I've had a look - I have many more thanks to MF, but I don't want to cause anyone to overdose on car porn - and here is a small selection spotted out and about during my recent visit to London and the surrounds Camaro. Murderer not included (but this one's obviously off to rob a bank or something, because it's wearing a mask). Three (count 'em) Mustangs parked outside a house. I still think they should let me have one, they can't possibly use three. Jaguar D-Type. Corvette Victory Edition. This one is number 1 in a limited run of 250 and was previously on display at the Geneva Motor Show. It's stupid, expensive, thirsty, a bit vulgar, only available as a left-hooker and it won't go around corners... and I love it. I apologise for the presence of my mug, but at one point I thought I would have to be crowbarred away from it. If I had my driving licence, my house would have been at risk... Or at least, that was the case until I saw this. Now my house is safe, because this car is worth more than my house, though being a Bristol they don't talk about prices in the showroom. But I cannot sum up this car's presence in words. And enjoy, because you certainly won't get to see the Bristol Fighter on Top Gear! (MF describes the colour of this one as 'fizzy orange sweets' but it somehow gets away with it). Forget the Corvette, I'm head over heels with this one. And finally... I can't not include this one. It's a 1954 convertible Hillman Minx in a certain shade of 'indescribable' Hope that satisfies the hunger for a bit, GG!

We were overtaken by a TVR on Sunday (at least that's what husband said it was ) With a fine sense of irony the personalised plate read "NOB"

During the past week(s?) i havent been on this place i have seen a Vauxhall Monaro, Peugeot one thousand and seven, black Aston Martin ( ), black Alfa Romeo Brera (couldnt tell if the seats were tan leather) & a Ferrari which had broken down & was being carried on one of those big long things. The Monaro, Aston & Ferrari i saw on the M42 on the way to Birmingham for the Def Lep concert.

Sorry if the wine has blurred my eyes, but is that a Z3? Pretty car, the side vents make me think of shark gills

It is a 2000 Z3. My son doesn't like the Z4 because it doesn't have the gills. We bought it used and got a wonderful deal on it. An attorney had bought it for his girlfriend and they had broken up so he sold it in order to buy a farm truck. That's a switch!

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a lot of old cars going around at the moment?

Oh dear. I was mooching about on TG.com reading an article about the Maserati Quattroporte (saw one of those in London too, and I must say, I liked) and they linked to this travesty. The language is a bit fruity in the comments section, but don't worry - you won't be able to read it, you'll be too busy covering your eyes from the horror that is a... well, I'm not going to say. Words can't prepare you for this piece of automotive nastiness.

Well, they're going to have to search harder for places to put the awful things now... apparently, and quite for why I have no idea, they're abolishing the free parking spaces for electric cars. This was one of the big incentives for buying the battery-powered deathtraps in the first place!
I just can't believe anyone would "chav up" a Maser like that. Mind you, it is somewhere in the Middle East, where the Burberry brand has probably not yet been horribly defiled. Unlike that car...

So do I. I've seen one parked not far from where I live sometimes. Last Saturday was a great car spotting night for me. I left work at about 2.30am, and during my five-minute walk to the bus stop I saw three Ferraris, two Lambos, a Maserati, a McLaren Mercedes SLR, and a Ford GT. ;D I love living in London!
