Car porn toay I saw some crackers  Aston Martin DB9, Alfa Romeo GTV in blue and a Brera oh how pretty it is, an MG Midget (the next version of the Austin Healey Sprite) many Lotus's (Loti??) and Caterham 7's, 2 Nissan Figaros, a VXR8 in black and cor did it look menacing . I thought it couldn't get any better when I saw a Ferrari F360 orF430 (other side of the motorway) and an R8. I can't tell you how delighted I was. I was ha;f expecting to see a Lambo  |

A day of GTV's Aren't Alfa drivers nice and we know what they go through. Maybe that's why they're nice. I've leased a Mercedes E350 for a couple of years and have to take it back to dealer tonight. Another dealer bought the franchise or whatever it is so I have to take it back to a different place than where I got it. My son took it down there last week for inspection and said that they have a car museum, restaurant, movie memorabilia room and an aquarium with a shark in it that's about 3 feet long. I should be able to get some pics for here. I'm really excited and I've never been excited about going to a car dealers unless I'm buying! People treat you badly when you drive a Mercedes, even a lower end one, I get rude gestures daily in it.  . I was also dissapointed in the build quality to be honest. Too many bits falling off, reminded me of the British Leyland challenge. The doors did stay on though ;D And the rude gestures may be a result of some "agressive "driving techniques, lol. |

I've seen some real beauties since I've been back in the states. I love the look of the new Mustang (an all time fave). I've seen quite a few Minni Coopers on the freeways as well. Yesterday, at Dairy Queen, I park next to the new Dogde Charger. That was gorgeous. I've seen quite a few Harleys, which bring back fun memories of my late teens and my time as a passenger with an old boyfriend from Houston. The new jeeps don't look as good as the old jeeps, but they're the only SUV type vehicles, besides Land Rovers and Range Rovers that I like. I'm still totally in love the with Chevy Impala that we hired. It's been a great travel companion, even though the sat nav voice sounds like me with a touch of laryngitus.

Chevy needs to work on their sat-nav voice. My husband's sounds like if you don't obey her she's coming after you with a whip, lol. Must be why he likes it!
My son has the portable type where you can choose the voice complete with accent and gender of choice. His sounds like a Bitish man and cracks me up everytime I hear it.

Some photos of the garage I pass on the way to work  Check out the limo, one of several. How tacky?! At least they didn't have their pink Cadillac on display that day (yes, they have a clichémobile, and it isn't a particularly nice one either  )  The cream car at the front of the garage is a lovely old Beauford, one of a pair. The cars in the background are some the more sedate examples of their limo fleet.  Some of their seriously nice wedding cars. Didn't look close enough to see what they were, whether they're Rolls-Royces, Bentleys or a combination thereof - or something else entirely, from one of Britain's defunct marques. And finally, a pic for Dutch...  A Smart Roadster in the car park at work |

I saw a Lamborghini Gallardo Spider in black on Saturday soooo pretty and a Nissan Figaro (well four) but one in very shiny pink. I took a picture and my parents think I'm completely mad! Oo and an Aston Martin Volante ;D
