I cannot wait to get out of here (stupid work) and go home and pop it on a DVD and watch it on my lovely telly. I'm quite excited now!

Figures for TG were 6.2 million, which were pretty good, seeing as footie was on there figures were 7.2 million and the Royal 5.1 million

Yes, no mention of the furniture. I did find the opening bit a bit rushed and the news section. I think they need to lose the stunt man - it's not necessary. It's not a stunt programme after all. But the police bit was a classic. That's worth a watch on its own.

I didn't think TG Stuntman was exactly necessary, though I liked the introduction When I watched it last night I was knackered and footsore and by the time it finished I think I was also heading towards tipsy as I'd not eaten all day and had curled up on the sofa with a barely acceptable Pinot Grigio. The pacing seemed a bit off, but opening episodes often are as they have so much to pack in. Loved the Ferrari article as I've never been a big fan of Fezzas but that piece actually made me excited about the Scuderia. I was also chuffed with the Prius vs M3, because it made a number of points I've been trying to get across to people for a while! It did feel a bit like the earlier part of the show was fitted together from articles that didn't quite go anywhere else, but I didn't mind that at all as there is so much good stuff to come - not just judging from the preview but from what we've discovered in recent weeks. The police thing though - priceless ;D All in all, I thought it was a pretty solid return And the boys were all absolutely gorgeous.

I'm glad someone else thinks the TG Stuntman was a bit of a disappointment?? Loved James' ice-cream van police siren!! Also loved Jeremy's references to repeats on Dave... 'see you next week, unless you’re watching this on Dave, in which case see you in a minute!’ lol ;D Great start guys!!

The ice-cream siren made me laught so hard I woke up the cat and then a few minutes later I did it again when jeremy throws the dummies away to clear the way.

It was James' comment that the criminal would hear the siren, and stop to buy an ice-cream!! lol ;D

I like this on TG mag site....
"The morning after... So how was it for you?
Last night's rather triumphant Top Gear telly return, we mean. Not bad, eh?
If you missed it, fear not - the first episode of the new series is repeated on Friday June 22 at 9pm on BBC Two.
Or you can be like the future and watch it whenevr you want on BBC iPlayer, if you live in the UK.
And then on Dave at some point in 2014.
For the rest of you, what did you think? Drop us an email to tgweb@bbc.co.uk titled 'Yes, it was awesome' with all your thoughts.
Did you like the new character? Do you prefer the doubled-up Star in a Reasonably Priced Car? And what did you think of the 'how to change your own sparkplugs' section? (That'll throw all those who missed it last night...)
If you want to get a flavour of all the other stuff that's coming up in the series, check out our ream of links to other exciting stuff below. Roll on next Sunday."
;D ;D ;D ;D
