No I don't believe there was any Stig either. Not on the track.

No, they didn't think there was much point attempting a power lap in the Brooklands. Besides, Jeremy broke it

No Stig either. I didn't notice. Well, they needed space to tell the Alfa story. Brilliant stuff. James had a right strop didn't he. Thought that was very funny.

It was probably the fumes off the cheese! lol. Was a excellent episode, was really funny, James and his tool box, his eyes lighting up, when he realised what the challange was.

I did admire Jezza for that actually. He was trying to make a point about how difficult it is for women to be taken seriously in the sport. Proven by the member of the audience who said immediately she'd be crap at it. I also thought they slipped up on the selling of their cars on calendars. If they'd draped themselves across the bonnets, we'd have bought them. ;D

Oh and did anyone notice the.. er.. women behind Jeremy at the start of the show? Well I think one was a woman, not sure about the other. Very heavy on the lip gloss. Looked like she'd had a hard night on a street corner.

Can't think how they managed that - obviously not on purpose, cos a better collection of well-designed calendars I have never seen. Still I bet a fair few of us bought this year's calendar (or had it bought for us) of James top cars or whatever, despite their only being a pic of him on the cover!

Heavens, Ly, did you record and freeze frame to check out the competition behind Jezza in preparation for your own trip to Dunsford? Or are you really that eagle-eyed?!

Yep, it's hanging in the kitchen. Was a tad disappointed I have to say. I hope they bring out a proper Top Gear Calendar this year - one with the boys on every page (forget the cars). ;D

It was difficult to miss them Maibee. They were kind of obvious. I don't worry about the other women at Top Gear - I'm more interested in the men.

Someone on Pistonheads has pointed out that Jezza really should take a look at the Highway Code again... Double solid white lines

I'm not joking and I'm really sorry 'cause this sounds terrible but I had to rewind that bit, I was certain one of them was a tranny..... so was my O/H . But I loved the alfa scenes and stroppy James Oh and I loved his alfa real nice. Sorry if I caused offence about the tranny bit but I swear it's true.

I don't think it's that, DD, most people are open-minded these days. But just supposing they're just an ordinary female fan, who went to the recording on Wednesday and then after watching it tonight they scan the internet to see what other viewers think and come across this thread, then they read that one person thinks they look like a hooker and another like a tranny. My God. I mean, if it were me, I'd be devastated.

Something else to look for in this episode We went to a concert/music revue thing last night and this Amazon of a woman walked in with orange skin and white hair. My goddaughter looked at me and asked "Tranny?". I snorted a laugh and the woman looked right at us. As soon as she moved on we cracked up and dubbed her Oompa-loompa tranny Barbie. I'm not a good influence on teenagers!

Lol, I laughed because my goddaughter is kinda naive and hearing that word come from her mouth made me laugh so hard I snorted. Actually she looked more like an oompa-loompa than anything else. Bad fake tans are of epidemic proportions here
