One of the most entertaining hours of television I've seen in a very long time! I am going to attempt a proper review in a minute

Good stuff Wy. Shall look forward to that. Screen cap request - just in case I need to ask - James in glasses. ;D Funny seeing it on TV. I forgot so much so it was great to see it again. The filming of that car in Japan alone was astounding despite poor Jezza and his ever decreasing body. When Richard made the jump on his horse the whole audience cheered. Even the SIARPC were entertaining because they were only on for ten minutes. A good all round entertaining episode.

I'll admit to having a small crush on Mr. Caine after seeing The Hand as a teen. That movie scarred me for life however. Can't stand to see people sticking limbs out of cars now!

All he needs is backing band and a brown tweed suit and he'll be singing Common People...

Torrent: www.mininova.org/tor/1614818 What do you girls think, does James really need reading glasses, like Jezza does, or was he just showing off to make a point about the small print?

They're quicker than me on HH, but I've tweaked the cap and resized it so it fits here

I thought (and I could be completely incorrect) that James wore contact lenses? This is, again, a piece of infomation that is lost to the depths of j-m.co.uk.
He wouldn't be able to fly if he needed glasses that badly, anyway...

Poor Jezza with his neck! Can honestly say I loved the lot. And no had no idea James needed glasses, but the ones he wore really suit him, they looked slightly bent though, bet he sat on them one time. ;D

It could just be the angle of the photo, but those glasses look the same as Jeremy's. I wonder if they're his spare pair or something?

Does anybody seriously think James needed those glasses? I thought it was a stunt to mimmick Jezza. And moreover, I thought he was wearing them cock-eyed on purposed.
This ^^ is what I put on the morning thread half an hour ago, had no idea you were discussing this here. I agree with Linden, but assume Becks has more accurate info. Never occured to me that he wore contacts. Oh well, more trivia for the brain!

They did look like the Great Uncle Bulgaria in their matching specs ;D

My last penny on the subject of glasses. You have to distinguish between reading glasses, which almost everyone is going to need at some point, mostly in their late forties, and regular glasses or contacts. I don't think James's reading glasses were for real, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wore contacts.

I'm going to have to try to watch this on YouTube tomorrow morning before we head north. I'm curious about a few things some of you have said here and need to see it. Besides, James looks great in the glasses pictures some of you have included. Thank you.

Thanks, Dani S, for putting that beautiful sight in so I could admire him while I write my review. Jeremy looked fine in his shades and in the Indiana Jones outfit. I don't agree with his comments about giraffs (I'm very short) or burgers (I can't stand eating them). I loved the old posh car challenge. I'm glad James didn't get out of his car with those (uh-hum) construction workers. I'd be afraid of the same thing too for him and myself in that situation. Jeremy was very brave to get out of his own car and push James' broken down one out of there. Thankfully nothing questionable happened to either of them. Jeremy could be a dictator. Nah, just kidding. I really loved it. Glad to know that James is still alot stronger than he claims to be in his articles. He just kept right on pushing his car even after Jeremy lay worn out on the ground next to his. Richard is the "woman" that TG was talking about on the horse. Nah, he looked more like Ikibad Crane (I think I spelled it wrong) from Sleepy Hollow on it crossed with David Tennent. This one was alot of fun. I loved the end as well.

There was so much good stuff in this episode. The fox chase was great, loved the fox car! ;D I was watching on youtube with headphones and laughing so loudly I woke up my son! As far as the 500 hamburgers though I really liked this one. Can't put my finger on it, but it seemd like a "classic" episode with just the right amounts of all that's great about Top Gear!

Initial reaction was a 7, but with hindsight have given it an 8... very funny, loved the James 'n' Jeremy bit, but not sure on the fox-hunt, (as Jeremy said, I wonder if they'll get any complaints for 'glamourising hunting?) and the news wasn't up to their usual standard (sorry) I see there's still no TGSM?? I think they may have dropped that idea?? Anybody know if Stig playing 'Daniel' is an in-joke?? That's two weeks running he's had it on! As for James' glasses, I think that was just to mimic Jeremy! (I'll take a breath now! lol ) Oh well, just one more to go!!
