What James was saying or video clips? The videoclips. They are extended footage from the series and I'd really like to have them on my pc. But so far I haven't managed to download them.  |

about tonight
You have to love May's turn of phrase. This week's programme is devoted to robotics, and after meeting the brilliant Asimo robot, May observes that "his perambulatory skills are really remarkable". It's as if you trapped the spirit of a 1930s inventor in the body of a 1970s prog-rock keyboard player and let the result loose on some of the coolest techno-kit the world has to offer. In short - a good laugh. And May does play the keyboard tonight, very nicely, to prove a point about what robots can and can't do, as well as piloting a thought-controlled wheelchair and meeting his digital twin. I just wish he'd ditch that ruinously uncool rugby shirt he wears - can't someone tell him it makes him look like a twit?

Click on any of them. Some more information will appear with an accompanying video. This only works by the way if you have Flash installed. Edit: the videos do not seem to be working for me at this moment. Anyone else having the same problem? |

Hi lindenchase, Thankyou for uploading the vids. Can I quickly ask how you downloaded the flash videos? Did you use the download function in Real Player? I've been trying to download a video from a BBC site (even just the audio would do) and I can't tell if i'm doing something wrong or if the BBC have blocked it. Thanks, PP |
