The episode is season 4 episode 3, and I think it happens near the end of the episode. I agree on both counts. When Richard returned after his accident James only shook his hand whereas Jeremy gave him a huge bear hug. Good observation, Viv. Jeremy is a much more emotional, visceral individual than James is. I didn't like James's reaction; it seemed cold and standoffish. I know I shouldn't be so judgmental; everyone has their own way of dealing with a crisis that happens to someone close to them, but..it just really rubbed me the wrong way.  I'll get off my soap box now...And speaking of Richard raiding James's closet...  Maybe Richard spent the night at James's flat and had nothing else to wear...? |

I just watched the episode before this 4-2 where Richard is hypnotized. I had forgotten how funny it was. Watch it if you get a chance.

This is one of my favourite examples of James/Richard Wardrobe Love:  I wrote up a timeline of these particular shirts a few years ago, but of course I can't find it  Anyway, the most important thing that I discovered was that these shirts are NOT the same one. The flowers are in different positions, and most likely different sizes. If I didn't know better I'd wager there's a couple of fellow Ja/R slash fans in here? Hmmm? |

It's not the only matching shirt they own, either. They both have a black one with black and white striped trims, though the stripes run in different directions.
What we really need is for Richard to turn up in the pink and purple rugby shirt of doom ;D
