Lovely photos of Richard and Mindy at Cheltenham Festival. The Mail was fulsome in its description of their wardrobes..... "It's one of the biggest days of horse racing in the calendar year that attracts a host of star-studded names to its stables. Richard Hammond, 47, managed to turn heads in a statement which left him looking positively gentry in a green three-piece tweed suit alongside his wife Amanda Etheridge. The Grand Tour star couldn't be missed in his head-turning look which he teamed with a blue crisp shirt and horse patterned green tie. Beaming alongside his other-half, he completed his look with a tan coloured brogue and noticeable goatee. While Hammond managed to make a statement at the festival, it was his wife of 15 years that truly got heads-turning in her eclectic fashion look that evoked comparisons to fairytale character Puss in Boots. Her show-stopping ensemble saw her slip into a green and yellow check tailcoat over her petite frame. Going all out for day one of the races, she teamed her statement jacket with a white shirt and khaki skintight denims that she paired with an over-the-knee grey boots. However, the 46-year-old's pièce de résistance was her jaw-dropping speckled top hat with feather detail around the garment. Enjoying their day out, the couple - who married in 2002 - have gone through a lot in their 15 years together after Richard nearly died after crashing a jet-car in 2006 on BBC show Top Gear. In 2014, the petrol head most recently managed to escape unhurt when a vehicle 'reversed' into his BMW R1200 motorbike. Speaking to the Daily Mirror at the time, he said: 'I crashed it. To be accurate and fair, I was crashed into. A driver executing a hasty U-turn on a major London road failed to check their mirror and spot the huge motorcycle filling their rear window and towering above their hatchback like an oil tanker sneaking up on a punt, and they reversed into me and my bike, knocking us over.'
