In today's Sun newspaper there is an ariticle about the Stig. Apparently there has been a photo taken and the identity is one of 3 people, Damon Hill, Tiff Needle, and some other racing driver. I have always thought it was Damon Hill

There's more than one Stig, I'm sure of it. Sometimes he seems to have a different physique and to be a bit taller than on most occasions when he appears  . There's got to be at least two Stigs, based on what I've observed. I have read about the alleged identity of The Stig and it may well be so. I do love the incredibly sexy butt that regular Stig has.... |

I spoke to someone recently who told me his friend was lucky enough to be in the audience of Top Gear, and of course you don't just get to watch the filming you also get to have a go on the track etc. And apparently the Stig walks around with his helmet off so everyone who's been in the audience knows who he is, and I was told Ben Collins too.
Not sure I believe it though, I mean why bother keeping it such a cult secret just to parade the identity around in public?
Left me feeling a bit gutted though, I prefer thinking of the Stig as an enigma with no known identity!

I heard through a gossip site I subscribe to that the Stig has, in the past, been Lewis Hamilton. Also, they said that The Stig is the expert driver supplied by the company if it's the fastest lap event. So yes, there is more than one Stig if that's the case. (They also say Jezza's in denial about his waist size....!)
