I'm sure you don't! You play loads of stuff.......I'm secretly jealous. You know those kiddy music books where they start off with all the nots in different colours, and then half way through they start to make the notes black, one at a time? By the time there were more than 2 different notes in black I was so lost...... Yet I managed by all the cunningness of a 7 year old to get into the school recorder orchestra....by learning all the songs by ear. Thankfully, when the teacher in charge did the audition, the names of the songs were at the top of each sheet, so I knew what to play LOL

I was a very devious child, and nothing's changed over the years!

Im ashamed to say that for the past two days I have listened none stop to the singles of Shayne Ward. As I walk down the road I have started humming 'You hang up, no you hang up' which is actually quite terrifying...

The Eia Mater from Dvořák's Stabat Mater.I like choral music. Especially when it utilises lots of minors (musically, not in terms of the age of the choristers!). The Eia Mater is the morning prayer of the Stabat Mater, and I'm a few days late with it as it is usually recited on September 15th (Our Lady of Sorrows). Fortunately, I'm not Catholic, so I think I can get away with it The Quando Corpus is pretty fantastic too.

Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei (set to his Adagio for Strings) . This version is performed by the choir of Trinity College, Cambridge. I'm not sure why, I seem to be in the mood for Latin today. Ironically, I came across this when I was listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Not sure what's with all the church music!
