www.amazon.co.uk/Oz-Jamess-Big-British-Adventure/dp/1862058466/ref=sr_1_48?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219785935&sr=1-48I present to you the book out 19th January 2009 Synopsis We're a nation of drinkers but what do we drink? Following their highly amusing journeys around France and California in previous summers Oz and James embark on a summer road trip around their homeland, on a quest to find the perfect British tipple. The pair start out in Yorkshire, with Oz showing James the perfect pint in the perfect pub. As they travel round Britain they explore the best and worst of British beers and move on to other drinks: whisky, wine and cider, as well as the less well known perry, mead, ginger beer, the great British cuppa, punch, Pimms, gin, fruit cordials, delicious milk and even which is the best water and why. Oz and James' hunting grounds are great British pubs, markets, small breweries, British sparkling wine makers and many more, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the British countryside. This odd couple squabble and revel in their differences in an irreverent and highly amusing tribute to British drink in its many forms. It is an essential companion to Oz and James' "Series 3". It is a defiant non-PC celebration of great British drinks by two patriots. It is an adventure full of mouth-watering and surprising discoveries.

Hopefully they'll get a good still once the series is out. Those trousers don't do much for James. ;D Looking forward to the book though.

That picture was taken in California, they are sitting on top of the campervan. I wouldn't be suprised if it is gonna be replaced by a publicity shot that was taken or will be taken during the present filming. Weird there wasn't a book of the second series,

If you are not interested in wine or short on cash I wouldn't buy it. There is no paperbqack edition as far as I know, so it's quiet expensive. It's mostly about French wine and that part is not written by either Oz or James. It only has a few columns that are written by them and some nice pics.

In the comments section in the Telegraph, someone mentions a brief interview with Oz in Good Food magazine. Quoting the woman who posted the comment:
"When asked what his favourite meal on the road was, he claimed that yours, Mr May, was probably Chicken and Ham a la Princess, involving a tin of spam, a tin of cream of chicken soup and evaporated milk. Sadly, he said he'd rather have fish and chips."
;D Does anyone have a copy from said magazine?
