How? I dunno really - Steve and guys came over to us on Friday night and we got chatting. We were probably having a conversation about cylinder heads or racing slicks and they probably thought they were in there with a group of pissed women who know about cars!! What was best though was that becuase we'd met the guys and they recognised us, on Sunday our friend's little boy got to go and sit in the cars and stuff, which made his day even more special. Yup that sounds VERY familiar! Oh they are a naughty lot! Bunch of flirts as well; apparently I have a nice smile! That milkfloat didn't know what had hit it! And I think WCH got to know Steve a little better than she expected! *winks to the girls* LOL I had a nice chat with him, he's lovely! But that's where it ends girls!!! |

ahhhh just realised how dodgy that sounds; WCH did NOT go THERE!!! He just chatted ALOT. That had me ROTFLMAO!!! No I did NOT go THERE! We chatted for like what 10 minutes before we were all kicked out the paddocks! |

James needed to talk to me about something - he'd asked my friend on Thursday (when I wasn't around) where I was, and so when I saw him on Friday evening I went over to talk to him. Re: Jezza, no, James didn't tell me - Jezza did! He was marching around the bar telling everyone that he HAD AN IDEA!!!! Oh wow! I had no idea anyone on the board knew the guys quite so well, I'm still quite new on here. I'd be interested to know more about how you've got to know them - in a girly chat kind of way, not a stalking or freaky kind of way! I just sort of... did, over the years, really - I've been a fan for years , as have some of my friends, so I guess if you see people you recognise them and if you're polite, you talk to them. We're not 'mates' or anything daft like that. |

Sadly not, so yes, my finances do take a beating every year but I save up my little MPH fund (in a separate account to the Glastonbury fund) so I can have a good time - I only see some of my friends once a year, so we have to have some fun!
We always book hotels early and share to save money, and it's well worth taking advantage of the 3 for 2 offers on the Gold tickets, which makes them £35 each instead of £58 - that's a lot of money saved if you're out as a big group. And the drinks vouchers for the Sunday Times Enclosure do make a difference in terms of saving money - those little bottles of wine were £4.50 to buy at the NEC bars, so two tokens each isn't bad...

are TG going to be there I'd imagine that doing a show called 'Top Gear Live' without the Top Gear presenters would be tricky to say the least... although James's presence at these things is often confirmed later than the other two just becuase he does more stuff outside of TG |

However you do it, surely it's just as dodgy no, wrong.. esp' if you're a fan. I'm with Ly... the only excuse is to be up to no good with the cameraman! |

There are several hotels close to the NEC, and it isn't rocket science that people are going to be staying in the hotels. I want to make this clear, that it is only by sheer coincidence that anyone stays in the hotel because of having to book early to actually ensure a room. There is actually no chance of insider means.
