Our boys. I'm so proud. If anyone has anything negative to say about this then Although why they used a picture of him in a tie for the tank "make up" picture god only knows. Mayfayre - the Sun needs you. ;D

It's a nice gesture. Sounds like they might be filming a special programme for it as well.

Someone on the HH board mentioned that they flew out last Thursday and will be back on Sunday. Good on them! Can't imagine them doing a lot of filming though. It's a warzone and it would be putting them and the people around them at even more risk.

Oh good, back tomorrow. I only have to worry for about 36 hours. I like the fact that apart from the Sun it isn't a big "look arn't we lovely people" thing. They are so great to do it. I'm sure they will wreck a few tanks given half a chance.

Assuming they flew from Brize Norton, I'll let you know when the plane goes over my house tomorrow and then we'll know they're back safe! There are never flights on Sundays unless it's something special...

Or you could wave them in with your knickers ;D

My knickers are so big they'd block the view to the airfield if i waved them...

After a few days in Afghanistan, I don't think they'd care ;D...but I'm sure becks your knickers are just scraps of lace
