I'm the same but at least they give you the choice not to vote, unlike the NTA's - I just have to go with someone I fancy otherwise. ;D

The video was great, but whose clothes does James refer to? I didn't quite get it.

Nice vid. James mentions something about them being in France. Probably filming for the next topGear series. Does anyone recognize what car that is?

The video was great, but whose clothes does James refer to? I didn't quite get it. Me neither - I've listened to it 3 times & can't catch that name. Strangely, it sounds like "Dorothy Parker's clothes." Maybe he's referring to a famous quote or summink.

Does anyone recognize what car that is? I couldn't swear to it, but the lines look like the Maserati Quattroporte. wrong: the hood (I forget what it's called in GB, sorry) and sideview mirrors are completely different. Probably a classic car.

James and Richard are in St Tropez... (see thread below on Daily Star)
Does Richard have an enormous, erm, phone in his pocket in the video clip, or does he really, REALLY fancy the cameraman... ;D

Strangely, it sounds like "Dorothy Parker's clothes." Maybe he's referring to a famous quote or summink. I've listened to it again and it feels like I'm playing Blankety Blank or something. Best translation I can do is.... "It costs a lot of money and takes a lot of skill to make something look this bad, a bit like Dorothy Parker's clothes." I've Googled Dorothy Parker and, according to the institution that is Wikipedia: Dorothy Parker (August 22, 1893–June 7, 1967) was an American writer and poet, best known for her caustic wit, wisecracks, and sharp eye for 20th century urban foibles.Maybe it's just something that James can relate to, given the 20th Century bit - maybe he's researched stuff about her for his series. Anyway, if anyone has any better, or alternative ideas, or indeed any examples of Dorothy Parker wearing dodgy clothes, answers on a postcard please to Maytastic....

a bit like Dorothy Parker's clothes.I thought I heard Dorothy Perkins, but then 1) I'm quite deaf and 2) why would James know about Dorothy Perkins? ;D

I'm sure Dorothy Parker said something about it "taking a lot of time and effort to look this bad" or something to that effect, but I can't find the quote. In fact, while Dorothy Parker has been popping up in this thread, I've been frantically scouring quotation sites, but I can't find the one I want! She's well worth Googling though, and I can guarantee most of us will have heard - and probably used - at least one or two things she said at some point ;D
