Crikey, James sounds just like me when I'm driving the Corsa Especially the cry of "keep going!", which is particularly familiar when trying to get it uphill. NOt to mention everything that translates as "help, I don't know what I'm doing..."

"This video is not available in your country. " *cries* Do you have your YouTube page set for the US flag? You could try setting it to UK and see if it hopefully works for you when you do. Or you could chose the planet earth one (Global). I used that when I was in America in July. Let me know how it goes. Wy, what really cracked me up and what I end up doing is, "I forgot what everything does!", "What do I do?" and repeating "no!" over and over. He's so adorable, even when he's confused and scared.

Like I said, exactly like me in the Corsa James is utterly adorable in that clip. When I was a kid, my friend's dad had an Austin 10. I remember him making similar noises when he finally got it running. He wasn't cute with it though! PS: If there continues to be a problem with the clip availability, PM me. I haven't done naughtiness with BBC clips before, so I'd be more than willing to not do it again

Hideous, awful, miserable, soulless... shall I continue? Even worse, it's the 1.2 diesel and it WILL NOT go up hills.
Given that Plymouth is built, much like Rome (but without the empire, or the Pope), on a series of hills, that was never going to end well...

Can anyone please upload this on sendspace or such? It's not available outside the UK. (The flag thing doesn't work.)

Love you!
That was hilarious. ;D I can't imagine what it would have been like if either Jezza or Richard would have driven that car. They probably would have blown it up after 200 yards.

VLC didn't work for me, as it is an flv-file. You might need to download that player if you haven't got it already.

There is definitely something weird about the format, but in the end I got to play it with VLC as well.

If you have a Mac, you can just change the file extension from .flv to .avi and it should play in VLC. If you have a PC... er, try googling 'convert file from flv to avi' and see what freeware you can find.

Oh my god. I dont think I have laughed that much in ages! Its the big where he does 'oh di.... theres a barrier' At no point did he say 'oh cock' in one of his panic moment there- I wonder if he only reserves that for top gear?! Bloody hell and b*gger seem more common!

I'm really sorry some of you were having trouble seeing this. I'm really sorry BBC is petty this way. I know some of you were having trouble watching Clarkson Island as well. Special thanks to all the ladies here who were able to offer alternative solutions to viewing this video. Linden and Eclair, I'm glad you were able to see it. WCH, Rwhip 923, and anyone else having problems, I hope one of the solutions offered helped. I've got another one to post, but since it's not by BBC, I'm hoping all of us are able to view it successfully and I hope you enjoy it too.
