And covered in the intestines of pigs or is it cows ;D.......feeling better shani ;D Sheep stomach...I think. The thought of it used to make me feel ill. My Dad (and me, technically) is Scottish, and I never used to have any when he cooked one. However, I gave in and tried some at a works do last year and they actually taste quite good - nothing like I was expecting. PS Morning all. Just a quick visit.

I haven't had it yet, but would like to try it this summer. It looked nice on their plates. I just watched it again and love the line from Oz, "It's peppery in its hoppiness." I'll pass on the fried Mars Bar, but will take the chips instead. When James was talking about mixing water with whiskey, I immediately thought of The Quiet Man when McAleany said, "When I drink water, I drink water. When I drink whiskey, I drink whiskey." Nah, for me to even be able to swallow whiskey, I have to have something sweet mixed with it, like soda. Bruce was well fit. James was just downright gorgeous and sexy.

Couldn't eat Haggis, even if it was sthingy fed to be by James a stunning man, the Mars bar looks a bit grim. A melted Mars bar is lovely (very sickly) but the batter is a step too far.

Many MANY thanks to you. Torrent is downloading as I type this I already have it complete. Be aware that the box has very strict ratio rules, so don't get carried away and start downloading all kind of other stuff as well. You'll need to upload as well. best way to keep your ratio up is when you download the torrent not to remove it from your torrent downloader and let it upload and another tip is try to download as quick as you can. Yesterday I was the first one to download it and then uploads more then when you are number 100 and something. My ratio went from 1.043 to 1.579 in just a few minutes time. It can really make a difference ;D

Deep fried Mars bar, that's even worse. Disgusting. A few months ago, I read my daily dose of the Metro newspaper and saw you can eat a deep fried Creme Egg. Ergh!! for two reasons. 1. I hate creme eggs. They're gross 2. Deep fried chocolate/sweets - not my cup of tea.

Last night's episode was brilliant, tho' not as LOL for me as the previous one! High points for me, were James' expression when he drove over the cattle grid... he was cross-eyed! ;D And him pointing and laughing at Oz when he still had his blindfold on, a brief but strangely amusing moment! I agree about the programme being too short... it did seem a little rushed last night? PS: I've had haggis, it's nice!

Haggis is nice if you don't think about what's in it, it is a very savoury taste and rather good with a single malt, though, in truth, it's a long time since I've eaten any. If you had haggis underneath mashed potato you'd probably think it was Shepherd's Pie. Probably wouldn't get the whisky with it, sadly.
Saveloys are much the same as andouillettes, I think. I had no idea what they were when I tried them but still didn't like them at all. To this day I can't understand why they are thought of as such a delicacy in France!

I can't believe they eat the Haggis after it well on the floor. And where does the fathead insult come from i never heard of it before? Oh it was in my paper today that the beer they drank in the park has been banned.
