I suppose this is a combination of a disaster and a happy event! Our suburb has just gone through a type of Category 2 cyclone. There is destruction everywhere and most of the areas lovely trees are destroyed But I am thankful that our house was saved and we are safe and unharmed and we now have power and safe water after two days ;D. We just have a massive palm tree IN our pool - new addition, very nice, very tropical

The important thing is that you are all safe and well. Hearing from you after something like that is definitely a happy event

I hate to see trees destroyed too, even by Mother Nature. I'm just glad all of you are safe and hope you stay that way. Thank you both for keeping us posted.

Meanwhile, in other good news, Tesco have started selling Reese's Pieces, which I love and are usually really hard to find outside of specialist international sweetshops like Cybercandy *noms Reese's Pieces*

Aww she is Wy She's scared sh*tless, the baby is due next June. She's only a couple of years older than me, but she lives with her fiancee and she is a headstrong, sturdy gal. She'll be a fantastic mother. I've warned her that I'm not looking after him/her though. That's fab MG! Wy, I saw Reeses Pieces.... What are they?

Reese's Pieces are a bit like peanut butter M&Ms, except their smaller and only come in brown, orange and yellow. Little crispy sugar-coated blobs of very smooth peanut butter, basically A bit like Marmite. No, I don't mean like Marmite... or do I? I think I do because even though they aren't made of yeast or black and tar-like and in a glass jar, or anything like Marmite at all, you either love peanut butter things or you hate them. I fall firmly into the "love" camp on both ;D

I've told a few other people, but I'm not sure if I told yall. I can't remember. I just got a letter yesterday from my son's school district letting me know which jobs I qualify for. They have me as qualified for the librarian job, best qualified for all the office and secretary jobs I applied for, and highest qualified for the supervisory secretary positions. It's a step in the right direction, but I'm going to have to see if I get scheduled for an interview. *fingers crossed*

All the best, Mojo This is going to seem like a silly thing to be happy about, but it seems waistcoats are heading back into mainstream fashion, not just mop-headed middle-aged-bloke fashion. Not that I'm particularly fashionable, but I do like my waistcoats. I have almost as many waistcoats as I have terrible printed shirts. YAY!

Actually, we are doing that too - we didn't make any of them this year so, I thought, it was only right that we should do two this year. I've never been the HC one, I'm really looking forward to it.
