TG Australia Caps

I should probably have started with the beginning of episode one, but instead I've managed to start by capping the last bit of episode two. Anyway, I thought it would be nice for the torrentless/curious but not bothered enough to seek the show out/anyone vaguely interested to be able to get an idea what kind of cocking about has been occurring in the name of TG on the other side of the world.

Actually, I think I capped this bit first because it made me laugh.

Smart Hearse


Apparently, Mercedes is concerned that people don't take the Smart seriously enough, but Warren has a cunning plan.


Steve isn't convinced... and he's not too keen on the undertaker's hat Warren has thoughtfully provided, either.


Every hearse needs a passenger in the back...


Warren sets about proving his point.


Soon, the crash test dummy is off to meet his eternal reward, paying a visit to some real hearse drivers on the way.


They aren't impressed. Their considered opinion of Warren's idea? "Crap."
Steve agrees.


"What religion is a crash test dummy, anyway?"
"Optimist?"


Finally, the hearse is unloaded and the unfortunate dummy laid to rest under the watchful gaze of Aussie Stig- vertically, to save space!

There were some lovely little shots I couldn't manage to cap because they're really quick. The use of music in this segment is excellent too. I think if people give 'em a chance, they're going to get the hang of this 'Top Gear' malarkey

And I'd SO love to go to that cemetery! I was habitually reading the symbols the whole of the time they were there and it is just brilliant. And they focus on one memorial that is very, very similar (in fact, symbolically identical) to one I described on Richard O'Brien's Dead Strange a couple of months ago

I'll have to watch the episode, but if it is filmed in Sydney I think I know which one it is. Of course, if it's in Melbourne I haven't a hope...
