The penultimate programme of the series and what a stunner! This one had my Mum LOL and exclaiming, 'It was so rude I shan't be watching it again. Well not until next week.' ;D
The Nissan GT-R, no wonder Jeremy did his neck in with the amount of G force it was producing. It's a striking looking beast of a car, the creases that are ironed in to the body helps aerodynamics. It's not a pretty car but I think it's a grower. The Stig (Bergerac) did a stunning drive round the track and the time was amazing.
New cars and concepts with James and Richard. The phone controlled Renault and the staggering Peugeot (still French). I liked this bit showing the concepts and new cars coming in the future.
The NEWS audience interaction was very funny. Yes Brown is Stalin. And Jeremy is wrong about Vauxhall line being pretty. There is one called the Agila, which isn't.
The Daceria Sandero with new info on brakes ;D I need one and that genius Councillor who has removed the speed cameras, although it's only Swindon. Thank you!
The luxury old bangers that James and Jeremy own, Rolls Royce Corniche and Mercedes 600 Grosser Dictator Mobile, respectively. The handling, oooo , like two barges sailing down the track.
The parking challenge was brilliant and painful to watch. West London looks awful to actually pay to park. The sight of Jeremy and James wearing glasses was fantastic! The horn on the Dicatator mobile was immense.
Finally, James running out of petrol in front of the builders, arghhhhhh. ;D Stunning cars but would I want one?
The SIARPC, um it was ok. There was more competition between the two guests which heightened the tension.
The Fox 'Daihatsu Terios' Hunting, that car isn't built for tall men. The hunt was fantastic, with Richard on horseback and the Terios with the Foxy paintwork was inspired.
It was fast, furious and a impressive off roading experience where the only obstables was the River Severn and mud. The hunt was a stunning spectacle to have filmed and did a sterling job in catching Jeremy.
I also loved the programme being closed by James tonight.
Overall, another brilliant programme. It was perfectly paced and tonight: it hit all the entertainment buttons, it still had some car content.
My only big problem is that the series is coming to a close, but I'm more than excited about the TGUK v TG Germany battle next week.
On another note, it is consistently the highest rated programme on BBC2 and all that beats it are the soaps and Saturday night programmes. Carry on TG-ing
