ROFL... I can't wait to see what that's like. With all the "new money" in Russia, a lot of the stuff we laugh at over here will be seen as the height of desirability! Bring it onski

And I've linked the image to the article I took it from. And yes, MG, they've had the interior done messed with too... I'm sure my granny had a Wilton like that.
What you can't see there is that it's all engraved as well. They've obviously spent a great deal of money to get the best craftsmen to do the highest quality work - but they've chosen to do it in a rather inappropriate manner!

That car reminds me of the (fictional) gold-plated Veyron Ly had in one of her fics... ;D Also of the inside of a high class brothel. Not that I have ever been in one of those. Though I did help design the interiors of one. What an exciting life I lead.

Sorry spotted a typo, I wouldn't want to clean that Porsche or get off the bugs. I suppose being gold it would never tarnish.

OK, let's work this out. The kerb weight of a Porsche 966 Cabriolet (which is what this 911 apparently is) is around 1660kg or 3660lb. The gold adds 18kg or 40lb or about 1/3 of a small woman to it, bringing the kerb weight to 1678kg or 3700lb. Not sure how it will affect the handling, other than making it handle like a generally heavier car though, as the extra weight will at least be evenly distributed!
