Don't say the V word. I can't even buy flowers today or it looks like I'm sad and no one has sent me any. Which they haven't. ;D

Sure Ly. Don't say the V********* word. Like in December we try not to mention the C******** word. That day is pure evil annoyance

When I lived in Bristol, the most unfortunately named road I've ever come across was a short walk from my house. It was called Bellend Drive. Oh dear... I'm related to a family named Tit I'd enjoy living in a comedy address RIght sticking in PMT/hormones and period pains I'm not really into today but I got a card from my Dad, never have had one from someone who wasn't half my DNA. It's just another day.....

Glam, I love the avi. I want the t-shirt! I want to wear it under a 'Keep Calm and Carry On' one and then whip the KC&CO one off after a few hours in the pub and see if anyone actually notices (and acts on) the change of instructions. Hope your body stops hurting soon. MG, I think it would be priceless if the Tits lived in Bellend Drive ;D But I'm also putting PMT, hormones and period pains in here because at the moment I feel like my uterus is full of blades from a blender

I'm taking 'V' day out of the bin for one reason only... it brought a smile to my face this afternoon, walking round the town seeing 'hooded thugs' who would normally be armed with baseball bats... carrying flowers and teddies! ;D

I'm putting in ticket prices, and my stupidity!... hubby and I goin' to a gig in London next month, checked the booking site... it said 'Sunday 8th March 15.00'.. very reasonable price I thought, so we booked hotel and return fare... turns out now, that 15.00 is the time the gig starts, and the tickets are £30.00!... still not bad for an all-dayer, but more than I would have paid to see the one and only band on the bill I want to see!

My estate agents (or should I say ex-estate agents). I have 'ivory' ie very light colour carpets in the flat I was trying to sell. When I got back on Friday, I opened the door and was greeted by huge clumps of mud traipsed all up the stairs. It took me about an hour of scrubbing to get the marks off so I got a friend to print me a sign saying 'Please remove your shoes. Thank you' which I placed on the bottom stair so that it's the first thing you see when you come in. Yesterday, I had a bit of a bust up with the agent and have taken the flat off the market. They had two more viewings booked for today so they went ahead as a last chance to sell. I've been out for most of the day, so I wasn't in when the viewings occurred. I've just got back and this time there are not only footprints up the stairs but they are on every other carpet in the flat! They either can't read or they are really taking the p!ss. I know that having white carpets was not the best idea, but I like them and have kept them pristine since I had them put down. I also know that they will be wrecked when I rent it out, but still... I realise that there's a billion worse things happening in this world at the moment, but I'm so annoyed right now. I've had a lovely day catching up with my friends and now I'm (plus I dropped my new mobile and scratched the hell out of it

My constumptive nose and sinuses for one. Menstrual cramps that are almost as bad as the labour pains I had.

ME....BIG, FAT, HORRIBLE ME! I suppose I should explain! You see, my husband, who is chronically ill and bedridden, somehow still managed to get me a Valentine card yesterday. I hadn't thought to get him one and had to run to the corner shop and buy the cheap, crappy, only card they had left!
I'm a horrible person!

Eilidh *HUGS*
Don't beat yourself up. I know you probably feel wretched about it, but think about how much you have on your mind on a day-to-day basis. Think about all you do for your husband... do you think he really needs a card to know that you love him? You demonstrate it with your actions every single day, and they speak much more loudly than words.

Libraries. I have 10 books I could get out for this topic, and I can't get a single one of them - they're out from every single lib that has them that I can use. Grrrrrrr... *is angry*

The estate agent, who told me completely the wrong things to sort out for the floorboard inspection bloke, so he's got to come back another day

TOH, who is being a complete pain in the arse today. I don't have a printer on this 'puter, so I asked him if he could set up his printer for me to use. It's on a high shelf where I can't reach it, except to get the printed stuff from the front once its done, so he HAS to do this for me, and he hasn't. First it starts printing all weird and patchy, so it needs more ink and then it runs out of paper. Gah. I need to get this stuff ready for tomorrow! So he's gonna be in for a yelling when he returns tonight.

I never thought this day would come, but I'm putting Alfa Romeo in. I asked them for a brochure for the MiTo and they've sent me one for the Spider. They must know how much I love the Spider, but I cannot possibly justify a) the expense or b) the insurance. Grrr!

For the first time in my life, I have a hangover from drinking wine. I'm not putting the wine in here, but the hangover is DEFINITELY going in. I feel like an elephant stomped on my head
