You deserve to have the job done correctly. If this is a local construction company please go to the boss or if you don't do that your job may never get done correctly. That's why I'm talking communication. Does the boss have your bid and what is supposed to be done correctly on the paperwork? The show I'm talking about the homeowners don't have any money left and hardly a house.

Oh yes, we have a contract. And I haven't paid the contractor anything yet. So I'm holding all the cards.

No word from Dref Wen yet. Wondering how long I should give them before I give them a gentle reminder. And meanwhile, my brother in law gets to go right in the bottom of the bin, under all the smelly decomposing vegetables and mopped up cat sick. Wednesday was my middle nephew's birthday. The perfect day to inform your family that you're shagging some woman in Shepton Mallet, that you no longer love your wife and that this has been going on for the last six months. This is the same man that, last Christmas, got drunk as a skunk and gave Charlie a nosebleed smacking him around, and who regularly reduces his autistic eldest son to tears and terrifies him with his shouting, and who barely bothers with his youngest son at all, except to tell him to stop being a '****ing poof' (he's twelve next week). The man is a complete waste of space, and if my sister takes him back after all of this, which admittedly seems unlikely, she'll be going in the bin with him

Wy, I'm sorry to hear about all the misery your family's dealing with, but it sure sounds like they'll be better off without this jerk. The next months will be hard, but hopefully there's a very bright silver lining to this cloud.

Thanks - just hoping my sister manages to stay strong and keep him out. She deserves better.
