Thanks Mojo. I doubt that we'll be seeing the boxes again. On the plus side, one of the charity boxes had two notes in it rather than change. They must've shaken it and decided that it was empty when it didn't rattle because they left it behind ;D. Idiots. I'm just glad that they didn't get as far as the workshop and get to the tools. Having to replace the door on a Sunday is a bit annoying though  |

Aw, PP, that's just disgusting. I remember some little *bleep* trying to steal a charity box from the bookshop I used to work in. Luckily, the boxes were chained to the counter, which foiled his little game, but it's a disgrace that charity boxes HAVE to be chained down to stop them from being nicked.
I hope the police catch the toerags who stole your boxes.

According to the news link that MG added, that's one of the messages you need to ignore and/or delete, depending on how it's sent to you. Don't go into it if you can help it, otherwise you'll have bigger problems. To air on the side of caution, send your friends a message to their Inbox there and see if they tell you for sure whether or not they can really view your profile.

That's exactly it. They'll ask where I've gone, say they miss me, blah blah blah. Then I'll tell them why, and I'll get called a martyr. Which I'll get angry at, because if I was a martyr, i'd have made a big longwinded statement about why I was leaving. But I didn't. I just left. I doubt they'll actually notice for weeks.

Which is exactly what happened to me. Suddenly one person will be 'Where's Vix?' (or whatever name you use over there) and people will be joining in, even people who barely knew you. The forum I'm taking about has a special thread devoted to me and people are writing down any 'sightings' there have been of me over the past few months. I go there and chuckle sometimes. If they hadn't been such a bunch of *bleeps*, I'd never have left, and they wouldn't have to feel so sad about my not being there, would they? ;D |
