TOP Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson will conduct his only booksigning of the year in Chipping Norton. Mr Clarkson will sign his latest book, 'For Crying Out Loud', at Jaffé and Neale Bookshop and Cafe on Friday December 5.
The book is Mr Clarkson's third collection of his journalism prints and he has opted to hold his only signing in his hometown from 5pm until 6.30pm.

Mr Clarkson, why can't you come to London and say a bit thank you to all those many millions of us who have purchased your books. You could do a signing in say Waterstones Piccadilly and stop the traffic.

You could do a signing in say Waterstones Piccadilly and stop the traffic. You'll get arrested for blocking the traffic. Throwing yourself in front of his car in Piccadilly is not a good idea ;D I agree with the rest of it. I've lost count of how many Jezzer books I've bought but the chances of getting them signed are zero

Aww, he is supporting his home village, I think that is lovely. He did a signing there last year too, I think. There was a lovely piccie of him where he was outside the shop and I think he had his hand over his mouth. I had a copy of that but when my pc got ill, I lost it.

It's a town, I'll have you know... you'd get shot in Chippy for calling it a village... I'll be going to this, obviously, as I'll be passing by on me way home... ;D

Well, with my only form of transport being a bicycle, I'd probably die if I tried to get home from CN at that time of day.........so I think not, for this one.

Do bear in mind that Jaffe and Neales is a PROPER little local bookshop, not a faceless chain. So if you can't go to the signing but you do want a signed book, call Jaffe and Neales and ask if you can order one by phone or email, and they'll get Jezza to sign the orders as well and they'll post them all. Please also bear in mind that Jezza has no shame and will write pretty much anything as a dedication...

Geography is not a strong point of mine. At least you will get to meet the gorgous curly haired hunk of sexy manlyness! You will have to share your story!

No offence taken... Just don't go walking down the High Street suggesting it's a village or the local hunt will be after you... I'm rather nervous about meeting Jezza again. He knows who I am as well, and some p*sstaking may ensue...

It was one off the net. I live in Ulster a.k.a. Northern Ireland, so I wouldn't have been there to take it myself.
