I went. It was quite chilly. He signed my books, but don't tell James I may have a little crush on Jeremy. He was on good form but his voice was still pretty croaky, and quite chatty. It was lovely to meet him and hopefully I didn't make to much of a berk of myself. He is very different when he isn't his TG persona, or it could be because he lacked his voice He had very blue eyes and had a bit of stubble, he looks like he needs a good sleep. I sure he will. *admires signed book*

In my current state of health I would have been glowing bright red , especially around the eyes and then coughed my insides onto the outside, right in his face with not a thing I could do about it Probably a good thing that I wasn't there

Thanks for the hugs mg. Sadly, I fear I am so infectious, even the doggies won't give me a cuddle It's over two years since I had a cold/chest infection and this one is rather unpleasant

Inky, don't... I've already decided I've got t'consumption AND ebola AND bird flu AND plague AND tennis elbow There's a lot of horribleness going around at the moment. It's probably just as well for Jeremy that most of us couldn't get to Chippy today. In my weakened state, I'd probably have thudded and been unable to get back up... Thanks for sharing, MG!

We seem to be a right (un)healthy bunch tonight. I'm dreading going to bed cos I know that the minute I lie down the gurgling, consumptive-type noises will start in my chest and I won't get a wink of sleep.....AGAIN I spent most of last night (3am to 7am) reading, watching tele - waste of time - and trying, but failing at Colin McRaes Rally 2004 PS2 game How many times can you bin a Ford Focus in one Rally stage? ? I lost count

I manage to actually sleep on my back without moving an inch. Don't ask me how I can still get up in the morning tho...

When I had my hip done (I know, you're thinking I'm about 65 now but I was VERY young to have a hip replacement) the doctors said I had to sleep on my back for 4 - 6 weeks No can do so I spent the time watching all-night TV, reading and being bored

Jeremy carries out his only signing for his latest book, Is It Really Too Much To Ask? at Jaffe & Neale in Chipping Norton, 15 November 2013 I can't tell you what Mr Clarkson has written in this book, but it involved his opinion of the Fiat 500! Quick break... (This Baby is just too cute) 'Is this a paternity claim, or payment for a book?' Says @jeremyclarkson Last photo of the night has to be with a @booksaremybag bag. Thanks for a great signing, @jeremyclarkson pic.twitter.com/NOvAUENA9m twitter.com/Jaffeandneale/mediawww.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.671986552835606.1073741829.200485923319007&type=3
