so its out before the 19th then? As I'm a "virgin" to all this I am slightly surprised the shop in question don't insist on you buying it from them? I went to three signings last year and didn't buy a book at any of them. Bought them all in advance (at discount prices) and took them with me. No-one objected

That'd be a good line on the day- "Hello James, I'm a virgin!" I would love to see his face if someone said that to him.

I was going to ask why he isn't coming down south, then I thought maybe not such a brilliant idea.

Didn't he get lost once and fly over the Farnborough air show. I'm sure he's said that before

That was when he was going to something and the air show had to wait until he had cleared the area

Ok the Waterloo and City tube link will be closed that day. I was planning to use it as there is no fiddling about where to go etc. So if I go on the Jubilee line from Waterloo, to London Bridge and then on the Northern line to Bank.....how does this sound oh wise ladies of the underground system . I fear my sense of direction may leave me that day

Tube to London Bridge on Jubilee line then one stop up to bank on northern is the best route from Waterloo. Shouldn't take long if it's all working well.

You can also see it like this, you can have about 4 books signed. So if you have friends that can not come you can get them a book.

For those of you going to one or both of them, I hope you have a fantastic time. I'm afraid I won't be able to make either of them.

Do you reckon if I went to the second one with one of his earlier books he would sign it?
